Its never 5 percent....more like 2 percent or less even if you live in city and less in rural.
Not buying it...I 'm guessing more pollution happens at start up lol....and savings will never be huge nor measurable. Show proof of reduced greenhouse gas due to stop start...We'll wait...
Oh and...
LOL...They 100 percent do use the engine for battery charging...The brakes are supplemental charging....
Hybrid vehicles use the gasoline engine to charge their batteries
alongside regenerative braking, which converts kinetic energy into electricity while slowing down. The engine acts as a...
Well dang, how sad is that....(sarcasm) Imagine a system that adds significant cost to your vehicle plus every time you buy a battery its' higher cost and heaven forbid you need a starter...and if and its a big IF you manage to save .5 MPG over say 20k miles and you got 20 mpg without it and...
Agree and it does match the headline to boot....perfectly. Many hybrids basically use the ice engine to charge the battery driven motors anyhow so part time to begin with... lol...
The auto stop has to be one of the greatest Rube Goldberg ideas of this century.
I replied to you because its not an actual comparison no matter how much drivel about it being compared is spewed. 🤷♂️ I was also pointing out IF you could buy a 35k dollar C8 the sales would not be doubled..😆 That in itself should be enough...

I can tell you that the Mustang week is a metric sh$t ton more calm and orderly than either "bike" week at Myrtle....Heck they even have a Jeep week down there...I find it odd and hypocritical of them for the reasons they say why they are giving it up...
Not in a Mustang but a Corvette I've had some success by adjusting passenger window up/down and find a happy spot for my speed....Usually its about half way if drivers window is all the way down. I love the windows down experience as well. The sound of the car is the best music and windows down...
The Mustang is only topped by the Corvette as the most recognized automobile model and platform. Its been a force in the industry since its inception (save for the mustang 2 debacle) and as such is not going anywhere. Pretty amazing when you think about how far its come since 1964. Quite the...
Op awesome idea and presentation. Proof true hot rodding and entrepreneurship lives. Good luck...that piece has obvious benefits and looks great too....
Hello all, New meat here though at almost 70 probably not very tender....My current toy is a C6 Corvette and I 've had 6 Vettes and three Firebirds and 4 GTO's and 3 Challengers and a couple Mustangs including an 04 Mach 1 and a few other fun cars. Pondering the new Mustang GT so I've been...
