The front hood and fender vertical and horizontal gaps are a 5 min fix DIY.
Whoever is not buying the car just for snagging on that is missing out on the fun.
It’s a mustang, and you probably want it cause of Power / Sound / Design. Enjoy it for what it is.
It’s only driver caused, cause in track mode i tend to over step on it. To hear that music V8.
Nevertheless, we got the car to enjoy its sound, but filling gas twice a day is $$$ :crying:
To start with, the car looks great!
black (roof + mirrors + spoiler) looks nice.
the rest (hood and bumper) mmmm not so much in my opinion, it ruins the car front fascia and design.
My suggestion, do the first half first, it might satisfy you, before doing hood and bumper afterwards. Also...
Ouch that’s quite $$$ the car sound is a mileage breaker, I always get lower consumption at Quiet exhaust.
Track exhaust is pedal seductive :D in a good way.
Some that own mustangs, have the older version, and enjoy bashing the new model to convince themselves it’s a bad deal to upgrade. Therefore, they consistently complain about things they haven’t tried based on what they watched in videos or read in reviews.
Well all my other cars are closed up behind wheel wells, never had any noticeable issue, nor did i care if moisture or whatever builds up… and they lived 12+ years rust free (in Dubai at 45 degrees C with 70% humidity)
But leaving it open to collect road debris doesn’t sound right in any way.
I noticed in a couple of online videos of 0-130 mph, that the computer tends to early shift in launching particularly at 2nd to 3rd gear at only 6520, where as 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 4th shifts at 7350.
I am yet to try it on mine once i finish break-in 1k miles. But i was wondering if you noticed...
I had almost same amount on both sides, I hate to remove panels and parts on a new car, cause that introduces room for rattles.
The area is not too wide to fit a hand, just a finger or two for the inner opening, and holding a spoon with finger tips for the outer one.
see pic below, one i...
I don’t see the harm in babying the car for 1000 miles before going WOT. You have the car for years… can’t wait for few days?
I put 800 miles in 3 days…. 200 to go!
I didn’t remove any panels or parts or lift the car, i just had to turn the tires side ways to get more space, by the time i was in my garage it had 50 miles in total, and there were only a handful of pebbles, i removed those i could see with my hand and a spoon for further ones.
800 miles so...
The people complaining about S650 screens remind me of the transition from button based phones to touch phones.
You’ll have to cope to it soon, all manufacturers are on the way.
I personally love the new S650 screens and steering, the S550 dashboard looked outdated and horrible, the interior...
To whoever is facing this, my suggestion don’t shift directly from Drive to Park
Instead, after stopping, shift to Neutral, let the car settle by removing ur foot off the brake, then engage E brake. And finally shift to Park, then switch off
It’s almost impossible for it to jump forward if you...
