Yeah I've hit a pothole or two and the magneride takes a good amount of the harshness out. You'll still feel it but definitely less jarring than it would of been without it.
Thanks I'm sure I'll drive through one day! I'll let you know if I don't end up with a catback yet haha
Thanks I'll send a message when I've made up my mind
I've been torn between this system and the Borla S-type. The only thing that was preventing me from getting the AWE is the price. I was hoping it would go on sale for Memorial day but no luck seems like lol
I can attest doing the sub swap in the link provided is definitely an improvement over the stock sub. I wanted more bass though so I added an amp also and I am very happy with it now.
Borla's systems are now out for the S650! https://www.borla.com/2024-ford-mustang-gt-exhaust-systems?engine_multiselect=548&body_multiselect=451.
Sadly the active exhaust catback is more expensive than I was hoping
Mine is pretty much the same way. The wipers start moving before the fluid is pumped out. Not a huge deal but it kinda smears stuff before it gets clean
Haha yeah you are going the opposite direction most people go with exhaust 😂
You could probably get bullet style mufflers welded in between the stock resonator and mufflers like here: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/dynomax-race-bullet-mufflers-question.75818/
I know you'll never get that 4.6 exhaust sound since unfortunately (or fortunately) the Coyote is just a raspy engine by nature. Trust me I would love to get that sound too since it is my favorite sounding V8 lol. I had a Borla Touring catback on my 2015 GT and it was pretty quiet prolly a bit...
You will throw codes if you put a non active exhaust on an active exhaust car unless you get some kind of attachment to put on the actuators so it thinks it is installed properly.
