One of my biggest problem with EV design is that the mid section of the car has to be long to fit the battery. Which is why a lot of them have a untraditional design. I think a EV coupe would be great but I do fear the overall design won`t be the classic muscle car shape.
Putting aside all the numbers and logic. In my opinion it all comes down to what you are willing to sacrifice in life to drive cooler more fun cars. For me cars are passion and a real motivation. As long as you can afford the payment and still put money away it should be fine. But I assume most...
It does suck for people who like to tune. But for the vast majority of people buying a mustang they do not tune the cars. On top of that there will be no V8 camaro or dodge product to buy in stead within a few years.
Looking at it from a performance point of view compared to a GT it doesn`t offer a lot more by the numbers.
Looking at it from a mechanical parts point of view its totally worth it. Plus its all covered warranty and insurance. You just have to value the parts more than the performance figures...
Without trying to sound old (I am a millennial haha) the days of modding are probably over for me. I put high value on warranty and insurance. This is where the Dark Horse would come into play for people like me who want a stock car and want to drive it for years to come. I won`t worry about...
To be honest I do actually agree with the dark horse not offering the best value when compared to lessor models. But It do think it does have a place in the market at the asking price.
There is something to be said about the a tremec and wider rims/tires from factory though.
Surely you must understand performance is not 100% why people buy what they buy. A mustang is a much better daily driver. Plus not everyone is sold on the way the C8 looks.
I short term want the auto because its easier to drive everyday, remote start and has performance gains. But once everything is electric and faster than any auto mustang being made today. That is when I would regret not getting the tremec. Long term I see tremec built mustangs being the most...
I think most people buying a mustang will never tune it so its not going to hurt sales.
On another note all of the latest BMWs come with locked ECU also. People were sending there ECUs out to Russia (before the war) to unlock them lol. So this is a industry level thing now and will only get...
With the current generation its very popular to run a active exhaust with a H-pipe or X-pipe resonator delete. Opens up all of sound and is considered warranty friendly. Even ford themselves offers a x-pipe via ford performance parts. I run one on my 2022 and dealership even installed it...
The lack of switches are a massive disappointment. They really make you feel like you are driving something special. That was a must have option for my mustang when I ordered it.
Yea I won`t get to caught up on those videos. Won`t surprise me if the actual production car was little quieter but they just wanted to create hype.
The current active exhaust on the mustangs already fails new California sound laws.
I like the interior but I do think that huge screen will get dated faster. I do not like the taillights. I think overall it should be a decent car though. My biggest are concerns are more about them adding more emission controls to the car and making the exhaust quieter. I already can see they...
