My '25 GT has Accel Timer, Brake Performance and Lap Timer. It doesn't have others, mainly Launch Settings/Launch Control. Phooey.
Is there any way I can have these features added by a Ford dealer (or anyone else)?
Ford offers the GT with 3.55:1 and something around 3.85:1. Can I replace my 3:55 with the 3.85 without having to tune? Big question since no one offers tunes for the 2025s.
I guess it's called a resonator. I saw a picture of one that had been removed and it appeared to have two straight end to end pipes with lots of small holes (~1/8") in them. I couldn't tell if there was any packing. I assume the right and left sides can communicate via those small holes...
After significant study, I decided that my PATS (Passive Anti Theft System) has been triggered. Never mind how (it's too long a story unless it's necessary to recount), and I need to reset it so the car will start and otherwise make me happy.
There's a procedure for this. Anyone know?
Thanx, guys. I talked to a Ford mechanic who explained a lot about the electronics of these new cars, and I concluded that I can't do this like I was thinking about. So I've ordered two small magnetic proximity sensors that I'll mount by the turn signal stalk. These will trip relays for the...
I can't find this flasher(s). Maybe the flasher is integrated into some other electronic device. When the signals are operating, the clicking sound comes from a small speaker under the driver's dash.
What I'm looking for is the wires that send +12 to the L and R flasher(s) to use to operate a...
Rugedraw, I really appreciate your doing this. I’ll print them out and study them.
I’m not familiar with these newfangled schematic conventions. In the past, there would be a flasher that would make/break a +12 that was energized by a switch linked to the turn signal lever. I need to find the...
Greetings. I'm installing cornering lights that should be activated by the turn signals. There are 2-3 ways to do this, but the best way -- wire access permitting -- would be to switch them via the turn signal + wires that go to the right or left signal flasher. Anyone know how to access...
