pretty much. We already have the old SVO now in the ecoboost. Add in e-support, and boom. Modern day version.
now, just waiting on the twin turbo v8 with e-support.
sure, thatās part of it but Ford did the Ferrari examination first - and solved the ability to do flat plane no on larger displace, ent engines. GM didnāt learn much from the tiny Ferrari engine. Thereās more voodoo in the lt than Ferrari.
as to the second part, fully agreed. I e posted on this...
Congratulations on your purchase.
I think youāll love the car.
as youāve noticed by now, the GT has a far nicer interior snd is more livable day to day. Itās also just as fast as the 1le if not a bit faster. You e also noticed its handling is not as good as the 1le.
Ford has been somewhat...
Car is amazing.
This color really doesnāt work for the car in my opinion. But thereās no hiding itās a looker.
Iād choose more streamlined wheels and a different color scheme, but really wish this was my car.
Dang. The tinted headlights and taillights look incredibly good. Transforms the car.
Reminds me of another era āpro streetā look that combined this kind of thing with tubbing the rear. Super great.
so sorry about the idiot who keyed it. Hope that person gets theirs and that you get this squared...
If you want a bit better gas mileage, get the 3.15
if you want more performance, get the 3.55s.
itās a trade off.
this is the Mustang, not a civic. Get the 3.55s.
literally everything about your gas pedal application feels woken up with gears. Feels more responsive too.
never said 100k. It will likely be 200 or so, depending on package. The GTD is well over 400k depending on package.
the part where I questioned if the suspension was worth and extra 200-350k was referring to the GTD btw. I think you confused something.
some people donāt understand physics.
At certain displacement rates, a 4 cylinder engine is more powerful and efficient than an 8. A little bigger and 6 is the magic number. A bit more and 8 does the job best. Itās all about maximum total combustion without burning the house down.
Ford once...
This is all well and good - so long as Ford innovates moving forward and builds actual GREAT V8 engines and manual transmissions. Do t just give us old or under-invested tech snd tell us just to be glad we even have a v8 and manual.
How about invest in the 8 like you did with ecoboost and make...
Only If they call itās own thing.
Otherwise it will have the same fate as Mach e - starts strong, thenā¦dies.
but if they give it itās own identity, it can build and gain momentum.
no one wants to drive the āpretendā Mustang. But everyone loves to drive a nice-looking fast car.
so make a nice...
youāre going to be surprised.
Rumblings of arpund 6:40 on the ring and sub 200k.
that thing is no joke. GM really mastered the mid-engine platform. As the base c8 far outperformed its specs, so will the zr1. Midengine by itself gives it a leg up in both acceleration AND handling. Meanwhile, the...
those are the same points I mentioned in another post.
Yes, the GTD is made to handle.
However, at that price point, itās made to excel, period.
Letās not kid ourselves. Handling and speed are no longer mutually exclusive.
the GTD is a multitasker.
e are all anxiously awaiting ring times...

For a regular GT500 tier car, it would be fine.
But for 325-400+k?
YOu bet it's a disappointment.
I have been fangirling over this car since I first saw the concept before the GTD was even announced.
But after the ZR1 came and stole its thunder, it really needed to reach for the starts...
The name is the whole point of the debate, so it's not really an "aside."
But I do agree that it would be great to see Ford offer a 4 door performance oriented sedan for those who don't want an SUv, but might feel cramped by a sports car. The whole "no more sedans" was a mistake. Three houses...
