All they did was a stitch weld. The part probably did not need to be welded all the way around. In some cases it's better to stitch it. Plus these welds are done by machines so they usually are bang on task once calibrated.
Where I live I have not seen another Dark Horse and just a few s650's it is weird. However a lot of people ask me what my car is and they say Dark Horse never heard of that. Ford has really dropped the ball marketing these car's.
So that explains why all these different four door none race cars come with them. Now if you want to believe your car identifies as a race car then that is it's right.
It's to get your car on a flatbed because they are so low and there's nothing to hook too. Now if you want the boy racer look buy an aluminum folding one anodized in some bright colour.
My Dark Horse premium is a Shadow Black, 700a, HP, AP, Recaros and the Tremec 6spd. The first modification was Tinted windows. Then a Whipple supercharger. Then the Steeda Stop the hop kit. Then DSS 2000 hp rear axles. Then Mickey Thompson Street ET 325 40 19 rear tires. I just love it. I know...

Well as I was born in Winnipeg I know how bad the weather and roads were like. Parents were smart enough to move to Vancouver in 1964 then I went back in 84 for two years. All I remember is big mosquitoes in the summer crappy roads always being fixed in the summer and the ladies were very kind...
It's a duel disc McLeod unit If I remember a RXT series I think. It has been a couple of years since I had it put in. It's definitely different from stock and I don't drive it in traffic It's a garage queen only comes out on nice sunny days'.
Auto's had 3.55 gears manuals had 3.73 gears. However I put in 4.10 gears and an Eaton posi. Also it came with a 5 spd but I swapped it out for a Tremec magnum XL 6 spd. If that's your next question.
I have had my Dark Horse premium HP for 21 months with 5600 kilometers and I have never had it in slippery mode. However now I'm intrigued and going to try it next time I go for a drive.
If you have the money for OEM. Then why did you not tick the Handling package box when you ordered the car? The HP was a deal breaker when I bought mine.
