Doesn't Ford equip or provide a front license plate bracket when vehicles are sold in states that require front license plates? If so, why would they need to provide you with a tow hook?
It wasn't an L, son. Learn something today. I did. Both some autos and some manuals have this.

Some autos had this decades ago.
Is this documented somewhere?
That would seem silly ... spend MORE money than someone who bought no maintenance plan and not get the points.
Unless your "discount" on the maintenance plan is USING those points to pay for the difference. How much was the discount? About US$210 or so? That's...
Do you (or does anyone) have any links to any reputable web sites or information confirming this? Not looking for anecdotal evidence. I've searched a bit and can't seem to find anything to support this. TIA.
I have a DH without the HP. I have the tow hook and receiver in the front bumper. Obviously, the DHHP comes with this as well. Finally, I've also read that the GT PP comes with it, but without the PP, you don't get the hook and the receiver is not threaded.
Yes, the press & hold will replace one with the currently tuned station. Been that way for many years. But I've never seen an option to simply remove one and have no station assigned to that preset.
Skip-shift with autos has been around for decades. The opposite of you, I never heard if it call that for manuals, only autos. Bottom line, it skips gears to improve fuel economy, regardless of what you, me, or anyone else calls it.
Not incorrect. Autos skipped gears under low acceleration to improve MPG. Maybe manuals had something that forced you to skip a gear. Doesn't change the fact that many autos had skip shift as well.
