  1. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

BC is hands-free and does not nudge. CP360 is not hands free and does nudge. What's the issue again?
  2. Handling Pack-Mistake

Replace springs and dampers on a Magneride equipped car? Nope!
  3. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

Oh, and even with an active subscription, if you take your eyes off the road (the camera watching you), you'll get screamed at until it goes ballistic enough to literally bring the vehicle to a stop. Ask me how I know.
  4. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

If your BC subscription is no longer active, you'll start getting the nudge. My subscription expired 31 DEC 2023, and I decided to NOT renew it. Not worth the $600 for three years (promo special for us Job 1 trucks), and CERTAINLY not worth $800 per year.
  5. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

I wasn't saying it was from BC. You might want to go back and re-read. All I was saying is it's the same BS you get when you have BC, but BC has no active subscription. Yes, I know BC builds on CP360 -- BC takes CP360 steps further.
  6. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

I have BlueCruise in my F150. Before the subscription was active (it was a Job 1 truck that did not have the correct firmware for about a year after I bought it) and AFTER the subscription expired (this past 31 DEC 2023 I did not renew it), the 'every 10-12-15 second nag' to put your hands on...
  7. Handling Pack-Mistake

That's what lowering springs are for. Far less expensive than the HP if all you want is a slightly lower stance but will not be tracking the vehicle. I have absolutely zero plans to track my DH non-HP, but may certainly install lowering springs.
  8. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

It is correct. It's what a BlueCruise equipped vehicle does if your subscription is not active ... it nags you to provide input to the steering wheel every so often. Literally touching or squeezing the steering wheel does nothing.
  9. Ease of Entry/Exit Setting

Your son, who will drive 140 mph and trash the Mustang ... :) Seriously ... a third household member who will drive the vehicle but not have a key. They will rely solely on the memory recall.
  10. Ease of Entry/Exit Setting

I only received two key fobs with my car.
  11. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

It has no sensor in the wheel to know if or where your hands are. Again, it is looking for steering input -- just a slight turn clockwise or counter-clockwise.
  12. Ease of Entry/Exit Setting

If you've got the fobs properly sync'd with memory recall buttons so that your memory settings are associated with the fob you use, then getting squashed will only happen if you push the wrong memory recall button. :)
  13. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

This is correct. Before BlueCruise was enabled on my F150, I would get this all the time. It's for lane centering. Once BlueCruise was enabled, the nag for steering wheel input (hands on wheel is a poor description of what it's looking for) stopped happening. When I let my BlueCruise expire...
  14. roadPilot's 2024 Dark Horse (R4964)

Just finished adding the rest of the pics (a few posts above) from her ~3 days at the detailer for ceramic coat and tint. Everything looks great. There one minor issue with the rear window tint (dust) that means it needs to be removed and a new piece installed, but we want to wait a week...
  15. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang vs 2023 BMW M2 - Car and Driver Comparison Review

Just another lather, rinse, and repeat thread. *yawn*
  16. Look what I found!

I haven't even looked @ the rears. Do we need to uncompress the springs (jack up the vehicle) to remove these? Or will they come out with a little work without doing that?
  17. DRL Mods

    Forscan?
  18. USB Port in mirror

My Uniden R8 requires 11 to 16 volts to operate. I believe that USB port will only support 5V. I didn't even try it - I used a cable with the taps for the rain sensor (behind the cover behind the rear view mirror) that had the Uniden R8 plug @ the other end. Detector is mounted under the rear...
