"Empty - Released" just means your car has been unloaded from the rail car and is now sitting in a parking space at the train yard.
In all likelihood, you're now stuck in purgatory waiting on a truck to complete the final leg to the dealer. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to track this after...
Right.
In other words, they're only here to give generic scripted replies to "happy" customers (akin to a Bot), not address any real concerns dissatisfied customers may have.
I'm amazed that you all are able to get insurance so cheap, especially with multiple vehicles.
I'm sure some of you live in upscale suburbs (fewer desperate people looking to steal cars/belongings) or in the country (minimal population density), but even those factors don't explain it entirely...
Here's a TL;DR answer to the same question:
"The current $64 per hour labor costs at Ford, GM and Stellantis are already higher than the $55 per hour cost at non-union U.S. assembly plants of Asian and European automakers, an estimated labor cost gap of about $900 million, according to people...
As someone who's a part of the so-called "corporate class," this take by Fain is delusional:
Us rank & file salaried workers are not the enemy, and he's not helping the UAW's cause by antagonizing us. We're getting screwed as well in many ways (if not more so).
The beef they have should be...
With my '04 F-150, my insurance (per month) will go up about $300 or so.
Now granted, YMWV. I'm in a big city and relatively young (plus, I don't have the cleanest record).
My suspicion is that, aside from the relative distance, they're waiting on enough cars going to your dealer to fill a truck.
Sucks, but thems are the breaks...
Per the Bronco6G Forum, there used to be a way to track your vehicle from the time it reaches the CSX lot until it arrived at the dealer.
The transport company is United Road Logistics, and there was a link where you could enter your VIN to get the latest & greatest status.
Unfortunately, it...
I'm not really sure what you're asking for, and what you want us to suggest.
While anything's possible, it *IS* very unrealistic to believe you're going to be able to flip it for a profit before the car note comes due, if that's what you're thinking.
Just don't take delivery of the car.
It means your car is at the railyard nearest to the dealer, but is waiting to be unloaded from railcar.
FWIW it took less than 24 hours for my car to be unloaded, but I've heard of other people's cars taking longer (which is why there'a no ETA). So YMMV.
If you have access to this program you speak of, I'm assuming either you work for Ford or you're closely related to someone who works for Ford.
Why not ask said individual or Ford directly yourself? They would be able to give you a definitive answer.
From a common sense standpoint, I would...
I've seen several videos / posts (though not necessarily on this forum) of Mustangs having arrived at dealers in Houston, SA, Austin and DFW.
It could be one of those cases where your car wasn't able to make it in time for the first shipmemt(s)
