I'm not going to race mine either. This is simply a weekend driver. I also want comfort and amenities. It's hot here in Georgia! Ventilated seats are a nice to have for sure, and latest information says Recaro seats won't have them. That sold me on factory seats.

I must've missed it. Agree with you 100%. Even my wife turns the auto stop off on her car. She hates it, and she isn't even a car person!

The price is totally in line with what I thought it would be. No surprises here...for me at least. If we can avoid FMV pricing with dealers I think we've got a good thing here. $60k for 500 horses with a warranty? Sounds good to me!

The S550s that I have rented in the past year had smooth shifts in normal mode. In sport mode or higher they were very firm as you described. I just figured that was because of the aggressiveness of the sport mode. Best way to fix it is to buy a manual.

VIN 001 is going for auction this week. I can't imagine it being too much longer after the auction that they'll open up the order banks so that the winner can order his/her car.
