If the next challenger is BEV, there is absolutely not way to put an ICE on that platform. It doesn't work that way, the weigth distribution and underbody space for batteries are completely unique for BEVs. ICEs in comparison require more space for center tunnel and have to balance out a heavy...
They absolutely increased their security regarding leaks. The 18 refresh was pretty much completely unknown until the reveal. And then there was this strange 2nd refresh prototypes on the street, that maybe just was a Mach 1 or indeed a cancelled refresh.
For just about a month away of the gen...
Motortrends article was a false claim. Motor1 reached out to a Dodge spokeperson who confirmed that there won't be any new ICE Charger or Challenger, the models will be 100% EVs with the upcoming model.

Interestingly we now know that the S650 is the last new pony car which will have a V8. Dodge said their new Challenger & Charger are EV only, so no new models with ICEs. Chevy will also kill the Camaro soon, the Lansing plant will build the upcoming E-Corvette and an electric Corvette Crossover...
@chazcron: These pictures show greatly how the frontend is an evolution of the Gen 6, while the bodywork will be having big differences in appearance. Hopefully Ford is not slapping on cheap lightbars/foglights in the lower vents again.
The upper image is a production near exterieur. Of course there are multiple design approaches for a car, but they are thrown away in way earlier stages and not used as actual prototypes with camo wrap. We can be absutely sure the first picture is real, it absolutely fits what was visible as...
That's what heavy camo + padding do to bodylines. Gen 5 and Gen 6 prototypes also looked really similiar. The final Gen 7 won't be confusable with a Gen 6 at all. Of course the new Mustang will still share the typical fastback silhouette
I think the car from a general appearance will have much more in common with Gen 5. More blocky, more retro pony car body lines instead of the smoothed out classy Coupe like Gen 6 was
Gen 6 also had similar frontend cues from 2013 model, but the overall appearance was drastically different
Man, you are a real 3d wizard. The car looks absolutely beatiful is that picture, the angle does it way better justice. Looks heavily influenced by Gen 5. Would it be ok for you if I photoshop one of these pics to a "heavily tuned" version?
Chevrolet is still bringing the new C8 Z06 to Europe, you can still buy other cars with that much power like McLarens, Audi R8, etc. It's just that Ford doesn't think it's worth it. I know people who bought their GT350 or GT500 from an import dealer who did all the emission stuff by themselves...
The first prototypes had the diffusor really easy to see, they fixed that with later paddings. But the upper half of the rear is up for everybody to guess.
They really learned with the S550 refresh, nobody was even close to the real front
