When my mom gave me their minivan after my dad passed a few years ago, I noticed that 2 of the tires were off-brand budget tires and 2 were originals (over 12 years old!). I immediately replaced the original tires with a General RT-43 tires, which have a good reputation in the Chrysler/Dodge...
Apex wheels are well-known in the 2004-2006 GTO community, particularly those that like to auto-x or drive it on a road course. VMR has a ton of flow formed wheel options and have been popular for years on the GTOs. We have the problem of not enough room for much-wider front and rear...
That's why my wife picked the Adriatic Blue as teal is one of her favorite colors and she didn't want a common color. When we were looking at SUVs this spring, she wanted a column in my spreadsheet with the optional colors that weren't white, black, grey, or silver.
It definitely has a bigger trunk than my GTO, and I've gone to BJs and filled up the trunk and put the rest in the back seats. :) Fun fact: when the GTO was "upgraded" to US specs from the Australian version, the gas tank was moved from under the trunk to the front of the trunk in a plastic...
My wife and I ordered a '26 convertible with the Space Grey leather as we didn't want black leather either. The seats in our minivan are tan leather and still get hot if they're in the sun, so I can imagine black is much worse.
Ours has the #2 circle checked and still says it's scheduled for the week of 11/10, but circle #3 is colored in and In Production is bolded. We also got a text from the dealer this morning that our "Mustang has been sent to the plant." I guess that means the same thing.
I found the same in my GTO, halfway down is the sweet spot, even at highway speeds. In our van, if the front windows are down any more than a couple inches, the sliding door windows also have to be lowered, otherwise the buffeting is pretty bad.
I doubt we'll mod ours since it's my wife's car and she's not into cars much. Then again, I never figured she'd want a Mustang, especially with a V8, so maybe I've brought her over to the dark side. :)
We ordered ours a couple weeks after you and it is still scheduled to be built the week of November 10. I've been checking every couple days and it has changed 5 times since our 1st notification.
The 150 lb-ft spec is because the Mustang from 2015-present uses 14X1.5 wheel studs/lug nuts instead of 12mm. I'd be pissed about the loose lug nuts and broken strafes too.
My dad and I flew out to Iowa when I was 11 to purchase a '55 Chevy Bel Air hardtop and drive it home. It needed some mechanical work, which he had our local mechanic due as dad didn't work on cars. It was his daily driver for a while. I spent a bunch of money having the floor pans and other...
Checked on our order status this morning, and it's been pushed back another 2 weeks to the week of November 10. Does anyone from Ford know what's going on?!? At this point, my wife might be ready to cancel her order and get something that will be built this year.
I had a club on my '87 Camaro and it still got stolen from the train station parking lot. They left the club in the parking spot. Car was found with a dead battery as a gas station in Baltimore, as it knew the owner wasn't driving it. :) They simply cut through the steering wheel to...
I checked again this morning and now the build date is week of October 27. So now it's been pushed back 7 weeks. :frown::crying: We won't have any good weather for driving with the top down at this rate.
I told my wife I bet she'll have her first speeding ticket in 1-2 weeks. :) She's driven minivans for over 20 years and won't be used to this amount of power.
