Itās not just āmembershipā gas. Itās virtually every brand. There are many variables that go into producing gasoline long before it comes out of the pump.
Iām well aware of that. I was referring to the statement from Whipple.
Iāve been on here since 2015. There have been many treads about gas quality. Overall Shell and Chevron have had the least amount of issues (but not perfect). Costco, for the most part, has always been considered excellent...
I do find that comment from Whipple very interesting. Costco is Top Tier and when tested, shown to be at its rated octane. Iāve used it for years and never had an issue.
Any gas station of any brand, at any time, can get a batch of bad fuel. Even Chevron. Even a Top Tier brand. It appears that happened to you. Thereās no reason to be careful.
By the way did you go back to Costco to discuss with them?
Then you might not have the BBQ tick. Honestly virtually everyone who has the tick and used Ceratec noticed a significant reduction in it.
No one knows. It's one of the universes great unknowns. As my old mentor used to say,"Get over it, it is what it is".
