Yes, batteries lose their ability to charge fully over time, just like a cellphone. But for the time they are charged they produce the same power. But this is a totally different conversation. Letās just be grateful our S650 still has a V8.
Yeah well youāre not getting that with the NA Ford V8. Itās a top end motor not a bottom end one. Thatās not going to change. As far as HP, I agree that 550 is doable but no one is going to pay GT500 money for 50HP. Also Iām not sure the 5.2 could handle 600 safely so tuners would probably stay...
A Dark Horse makes 500HP. The GT350 has 526HP. Presuming we are getting a new Special Edition you would be looking at a base of say $85-90K. How much horsepower would you want for that kind of money? At least 600 you say. Do you really think they can get that reliably from a NA 5.2? I doubt it.
Although I agree with you it is common knowledge that the NA 5.0 has reached its horsepower limit. Now what could Ford do with a NA 5.2? Who knows but it would have to be a hell of a lot more than the GT350. And why bother? A SC is just so much easier.
Ford made it pretty clear at the launch of the Dark Horse that this was going to be the new top of the line production model using a brand new name. No where did I read that this was going to be a limited production vehicle.
That said I beleive the new "Super" Mustang will need to be...
That is well said. But having met a number of Ford/Mustang folks over the years I will tell you that they are all very passionate about what they do. Right up to when the bean counters come in the door. :giggle:
Iāve gone through four lamps on my 2019. The plastic clip on these lights suck. While Iām driving I hear a loud pop. Next thing I know Iām looking at a lamp hanging off the mirror. I have an ESP so all I pay for is the module itself.
If you go back and read the press releases for the DH this is what Ford said. Now thatās not to say there cannot be special versions of the DH but the base and premium models stay on the order sheet.
The DH is not a special edition. It was/is considered a standard line model like Ecoboost or GT. The California Special and the new FX are cosmetic packages. So the first special edition will be the new Boss/Cobra or whatever that are going to call it.
I have 70% on my windshield. Even my local cop buddy didnāt notice it. But the difference in heat rejection was night and day. Thatās what ceramic does.
Looks like they fixed the 5.0 emblem.

Rear mats are really not a thing for Mustangs. But I was able to find this for your DH.

If you can find what you want in a 24/25 do it. Other than being the latest model the ā26 has nothing going for it. Unless you need to have one of the two new colors.
Good for you. One additional suggestion. Find out who your tech is and make sure to take good care of him. This way youāre not just another faceless customer.
