Many people conflate track mode with snappier feel. That's not what you want in the twisties or on actual track. You don't want unpredictable trottle input going in or out of a turn. 😉
Just so know, the GT premium wheels I mentioned are 8.5" square and come with all season Contis. I doubt those would get it done in the snow, but a complete set of take off wheel/tires can be found for less than $1000 on ebay.
They will sync right up. You don't need a programmer.
I just swapped my premium wheels out for PP take offs and they synced up after about 15 min of driving. 👍🏻
Well the PP wheels are 9" front and 9.5" rear. I don't think 245' would be a good idea on a 9" wheel.
I would find a set of GT Premium take off wheels. Those are 8.5" wide (square) and can be found online for cheap. Put 245 winter tires on those and just use them as your winter set up.
From the pictures it doesn't look bad to me. But, I'd think they could do a better match if younarent happy with it. I agree those duck tail spoilers should match the body color.
Yes, the throttle mapping in track mode is linier so you have consistent and predictable acceleration coming in and out of corners.
The TC is reduced on purpose so you can push the car harder in the turns without the nannies taking over and slowing you down.
There was another poster complaining of the same thing in another thread. He was driving the car like a bat out of hell doing WOT pulls to 150 in Manual mode, even though he said he wasnt "beating on" it Lol. So I think "spirited" has different meanings to different folks.
6 full throttle...
Yes. It's all a grand conspiracy so he can fool you on the internet. 🙄 Is your ego really that big you have to keep digging on this Mr facts not feelings? Jeez.
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this. Only thing give me pause is the silicone adhesive. I don't wasnt to damage the paint is I decide to take it off later. Any insight into this?
Foam will just hold the moisture in. Plus there is no reason to fill the space. There are voids under every trim panel in the car. Block it off and call it a day. This ain't rocket science folks.
All automatic transmissions have been sealed since the s550 came out in 2015. Thats pretty much the norm on most modern autos. You have to check the fluid from under the car. Im not aware of a dipstick mod. I just let the dealer mess with it.
