Yeah I found the same problem on the S550 cubby. Had a pair of glasses that wouldn't quite fit. You can also accidentally leave it open and bang your knee on while getting out.

It's a styling thing, and it looks really good on white mustangs. Been a thing on Mustangs for years. I'll take it all day long over those goofy DH graphics.

There is absolutely no need to use water to flush out that area. 🤦‍♂️ Use a vacuum if there is debris and block off the hole. People really need to stop over thinking this.

Interesting. Going into limp mode without a CEL seems weird to me. I'm glad it's back to normal. But if my car when into limp mode I'd definitely bring it into the dealer and at least have then check the trans fluid. I'm sure they can dig up some data on the event as well. These cars record...

I had two S550s before this. Honestly I like the over head version better.

Dealers are still completely oblivious. Just cover them and move on. It doesn't need an episode of unsolved mysteries.

Yeah the early '25s didn't have them. It seems to be a mid-year production change. But to this day no one at Ford seems to know anything about them. Dealers are still completely oblivious.
