Has anybody installed RTR Tech 5 wheels in bronze? Iām wanting a staggered set for my Shadow Black GT and canāt decide on graphite or bronze. I have not seen many pictures of the bronze wheels and am concerned they may be too bright.
@Mikestang24 @LoWeLL216 Is there any trick when lowering the new module into the trunk? My concern is that the double sided tape on the new module will catch early and itāll be difficult to āshiftā it over to align the bolt holes.
I had to travel last week and am barely getting around to...

And after she was declared totaled (but oddly enough back on the road with a new owner!)
My Whippled girl!
I have not had a chance to install mine yet, but the condition is outstanding. A little paint correction and it was ready to go. And itās black!
Since it has the trunk module attached already, itās just a matter of a direct swap. A little double sided tape along the edge and you are set.
Any new car is a financial mistake. You just purchased, and most of us financed, a depreciating asset. Options and packages are just added cost to your purchase and somehow you convince yourself that you NEED them- driving up the price. I had a C7 I bought new that started to give me problems at...
I installed the low profile jacking rails last weekend. I had the brackets on my car, but was able to get the bolt to catch on the driverās side with an impact gun. The bracket was under some tension and I had to push up and to the center of the car to get it to catch. The passenger side went on...
@SlamForce definitely some things about my 1LE that I miss. It was smaller, felt planted, had a sunroof, and the steering was excellent. I have no brand loyalty - went from a C7 to a S550 to a 1LE to a Whipple S650. The C7 was the best all around and each car had its shining moments. Enjoy...
I love that blue interior. Reminds me of the old Foxbody days. Iām not a fan of the blue highlights on any other color than white. Thatās a beautiful car- if you like
it - buy it!
@MrKodak007 They do, but the tuning of the GM unit seems so much snappier. The way I would compare it is the Mustang unit seems more commuter and the GM unit seems more performance minded.
Someone correct me if Iām wrong, but arenāt the units identical except for tuning?
The one thing that...
@MAT1955 thanks for the info. Good thing to know that these transmissions seem to be up to snuff. Nothing like the old AOD days! Iām hoping for some reliability behind all the horsepower. Iām daily driving the car, but having fun from time to time. Only a few hundred miles in, but Iām really...
So far I havenāt been impressed or unimpressed with it. The A10 in my SS shifted with more authority but hunted or clunked 2nd gear on occasion. Shift points and tuning were awesome and programming was amazing. So far the one in my S650 has exhibited similar behavior, but shifts a lot smoother...
Unfortunately, thatās what the marketās driving right now. Unless Iām trading in early, I try not to think about it. My 2023 1LE lost a lot of value year one but I traded it in for the S650 anyways. Bad financial decision, yes. Ultimately, the best financial decision is a used car you pay cash...
The n/a 5.0 will feel weaker at low RPMs in 1st with the 3.15. At least it did to me when I first drove one. I had 3.73 on my old manual car and it felt like it needed more. My new car has the 3.15 rear and an A10 with the Whipple. I feel no lack of low end in any gear. 1st gear is pretty much...
I used a mirror tap to install an Escort Max 360 and M2 dash cam on my ā24. Works great!
