You mean the "Al Gore" religion? At least his wife has some brains when she got away from him. So did Al to pull this off then make money from utter sh-t.
Drivers are what they are and they will not be changed.
Riding sport bikes, as I used to do, will change one's thinking. There's an old but commonly known concept and saying that "every car is on the road to kill you". Driving while believing that helps.
The other issue is distracted...
I've driven manuals all my life and did not like the last Tremec 6 speed I had in another make at all. I have the automatic and it has behaved perfectly and nobody can shift nearly as fast if that is important. I don't regret ordering an automatic at all. FWIW.
How about going around a buffalo standing in the middle of a two lane, at night, in a driving rain storm. They raised a lot of them when we lived in Missouri. I guess it decided to walk through the fence and it did scare my wife and I ____less. No, it wasn't expected. Forgot what we were...
I'm 100% with you. I'm used to working with people that signed the Sarbanes-Oxley, "I'm still honest" sheet once a quarter. The penalty then was only 20 years and a quarter million. That doesn't matter in my book. There is a special place for liars, fabricators, and cheats. AFAIC, it isn't...
I used to work a lot in Australia and people there, in my experience, absolutely would not exceed the speed limit. I felt a lot safer. What say you, Aussies?
The more I read this thread the less it matters, I think. Will it be any different when he's 20 y.o.? Some people need to see what a pool of blood on asphalt looks like before they drive.
I made the decision to drive my Mustang more this week since my other daily goes in for a brake job Monday and it's getting worse. Pretty exciting huh?
Well, it should be given my other is a Honda Civic which I do like.....floats my boat and the OEM brakes lasted 112K miles. It's all about...
I put it on quiet for my neighbor when we go to dinner now and then. She utterly freaked completely out and went into panic mode when I got caught underneath a light that turned red once. I'll think about putting it in track mode and taking her for a ride some evening if she ever p.o.'s me...
I just put some of that non-carnuba Meguire's car wax on them and it's working out great. I used to waste a LOT of money on coatings for my Z06. It looked good but not any better than what I'm using now which is Meguire's. Same concept of which motor oil is best.
At first, I thought you were right but then I just got home from lunch, driving in normal traffic to meet up. Putting a 16 y.o. driving a Mustang GT as a first car in traffic is stupid. That simple. Giving a 16 y.o. a Mustang GT as his first car is also stupid. Posting a bot on forums is...
I don't think it's Orwellian at all. It may not have been Ford's intent with all the online crap anyway but look what Californian's have to go through to get a gun then carry one. Try getting one in NYC. The govt. is all over those people's butts without computers. Insurance companies want to...
No doubt if hitting the brakes like he allegedly did at 7400rpm after the alleged incident took place. I think the OP is fictional click bait anyway. If not, I sure wouldn't put that content on a public forum.
1. I have no idea what you're talking about. I only tell my car what to do, to a point.
2. I would not let irresponsible, inexperienced adolescents with fathers of the same ilk, drive some cars and give them to their children to drive.
I don't know, will they all hop sideways like the OP's...
