  1. The Sound Police Are Coming For Us ...Haha.

Just like speed and red light cameras, it's another way to extort money from citizens. This should be banned by the state legislatures as this kind of crap is in some states. That said, I almost always have my Sport mode on but keep it reasonable around other people...usually. It doesn't...
  2. DH Front Bumper - Unpainted Portions

If I had wanted a Dark Horse, it would not have bothered me. They are the way they are. That said, I would change the front on all Mustangs for 2025 but I wanted a GT when I wanted one and I can make a decision, and I did. I like my car and the Dark Horses. DH's just don't serve my purposes...
  3. Active Exhaust - Meh?

This is a simple issue to me. The exhaust sound is what it is and I bought my car because it is what it is. But, not everyone, of course, feels that way or the mod sellers wouldn't be in business.
  4. Ford reveals details about a 30k EV truck

Better check what you're paying for gas tax. It's more than a few cents, then think about your road maintenance or road condition anywhere for that matter. Infrastructure in the U.S is in decline.
  5. Ford reveals details about a 30k EV truck

I used to be over a significant Tier 1 supplier to Ford and I know how their system works. For the most part, auto companies are assemblers of vehicles excepting mainly, engines. Why, because the auto companies cannot control quality and cost as well as their suppliers. I received a call from...
  6. Dark Horse Mustang's crazy lap on the Nurburgring today - driven by Misha Charoudin

The U.S. was all set to adopt the metric system when I was a kid and for political reasons I think, the country took a pass on it. HUGE mistake IMO. All one has to do is understand the number "10" and that covers most of the metric system. Notice that gal's hair fly around ot the Ring in the...
  7. Roof channel paint defect and grille plastic bubbling

True, often times. That's why you only do business with people that know what they're doing. Were it my car, I would suck it up and pay it myself if I had to. There are a lot of good painters/repair people that can deal with those defects. I would pay for it after Ford got hell for it first.
  8. Ford reveals details about a 30k EV truck

There is no way an EV is economical to make or own, ALL costs considered. One does not have to take cost accounting to know this. Oops, what are we going to do when the grid is tapped out? It will not catch up with what is going on now.
  9. 2026 Dodge Charger SixPack Starts At $51,990

Settle down now. Not everyone choses to live in the Socialist Welfare State of Canada for good reasons. Maybe you'll have a better day now.
  10. 2025 Mustang production delays??

Don't know who, how, or when this will be implemented but Ford has recently said that besides "normal" MY price increases, prices will increase due to tariffs. Ford is not an American made vehicle. Only American assembled and not all of them at that.
  11. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I'm still sitting here trying to figure out why Ford thought I really needed that. What next in the world? Things used to be simpler. And to think I paid for this kind of garbage.
  12. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I had a feeling that was coming. Now, I must listen for it. Ford really didn't need to do something like that. Makes no sense. I guess it helps them sell more Mustangs, ya think?
  13. 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Starts At $207,395

It isn't necessarily the money, it's still a Chevrolet. A Mustang is still a Ford but a whole lot less money and where are these people willing to spend that much on a Chevrolet going to run them? One has to be careful enough with a Mustang GT or Ecoboost for sure. Either one can get a...
  14. Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

All you have to do is look at it while on a lift and there is the entire exhaust system....legal in the U.S. It's all there. Engineered to get exhaust out the back and engineered in sound through the exhaust, not the electronics unless you call an AE butterfly valve "electronics". It's beyond...
  15. 2026 Dodge Charger SixPack Starts At $51,990

Looks like the modernized ghetto-mobile it always has been. Still, it will be interesting to see how the six cyl. does. There are hundreds of utubes of Arkansas State po po chasing hemi's. They always get caught or Pit maneuvered. And, most are stolen. Here we go again.
  16. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I don't ever turn on my audio so what I hear is not much with the windows up. Fine with me. I can feel and hear enough. In either sport or track mode, I can tell others hear it by watching them. It tells them how cool I am besides the cool electronic energy I have in a surrounding 20 yard...
  17. Active Exhaust - Meh?

There's nothing to worry about. Our EPA has car exhausts so clean now, it's perfectly safe to breath.......😮
  18. Active Exhaust - Meh?

i I think Starship Enterprise is onto the answer. Timing or something else affects the sound because the butterfly valves are not since they're in the same position for two different modes yet the sounds are different. You won't breathe any exhaust because it isn't going in your...
