I clean off-gassing film with a 50/50 mix of Stoner's and water with a micro-fiber rag followed by a polishing with old wadded up newspaper. Pure Stoner's just smears it around. I will be doing that tomorrow. Offgassing with a new car is awful for a good while. In fact, I never use a glass...
Yes.
There is at least one thread on this forum where someone has increased their air flow by opening up the vents. There is no way to accurately measure the increase in air flow by percentages.
There, that should end the thread.
They are piss poor ways of fastening things. Ford engineers should have to unfasten, then fasten 10,000 of them just as we used to have to write lines when we were naughty children.
Times two. I could not have worded it better. In addition, I don't like any govenment attempting to shove anything down my throat. Government is to serve me, not vice versa but one would never know it.
@junkyarddog, with no malice intended, if you read your own posts, which is all we have to go on, it appears you are looking for reasons not to install a catch can. You don't need a reason. If you don't want one, don't use one.
As for empirical reasons, there are plenty for me. I just...
Yes, it's too much red. I got a space gray interior with the Race Red exterior. It isn't for everybody but it is for me.
I had a BMW M series which was a very fast screamer but one had better get rid of them before the warranty is up. My 3 cents. That particular had an immaculate interior.
No, don't have the problem. I do use the electric parking brake on level or not level ground, always. Otherwise, the pawl in the transmission is holding the car in place. Over time, this could break or crack the pawl. I just use the brake and I recently read an article that said to use the...
They probably filled your engine from a bulk tank of who knows what (which I never let them do) and measured it with a filler gun. Your oil needs to be drained with a new proper filter put on before your trip. They likely "cheaped out" on you.
Yes, they work. Checked mine this week after 2000ish miles and there was some nasty looking crud in it I empied out that would have gone through my intake and through the system. Not going into my car.
@Wiley Marmot, you have reason to feel good. You'll see when you check it.
I've had manuals all my life and this automatic I ordered is exactly what I wanted which is fun. Paddle shifting is whatever I want it to be, when I want it, or just not shifting with them. The auto shifts lightening fast.
I don't want a computer rev matching for me or any of that kind of...
Put some oil in it and take your trip at this point. Watch the level closely on level surfaces. Anybody that doesn't return my call after spending significant money with them can jump up my ass. Avoid that dealership like ChiTownStang said.
On second thought, make them drain your "who knows...
Well, how do you feel when you look in your rear view mirror at a stop light and there is a soccer mom or Karen smoking with one hand and talking on a cell phone with the other hand in a mini van full of kids? Ever wonder who is driving the car right behind you?
