Were I a little younger, I would go into the wheel business. Or, not do it. It seems to be a business where marketing money is a big time need. Just sayin'
I just get a rag with warm water and wipe it off slighty wet then wipe that off with a dry rag. I also keep my hands where they belong ......
I agree with every word you said. I too have chosen to not use the Start/Stop feature. I commend you for your emotional intelligence and logic on the issue.
In my post you replied to, my real point is that there is no point is arguing over something that has a "black and white" choice for...
There is a place like that near where I live that just copies compounds and puts their label, or yours on it. They have invented nothing. They aren't smart enough.
Nice car, nice scenery. Not meaning to one up you but I can take my own oil, filter, and stand by the tech and talk with him while he does an oil change. Only place I've ever even heard of that. They do good work. I'll be moving if I live that long so that will go out the window.
This is a really easy issue. Use SS or don't use it. This argument has no end except for the one that wants the argument to go on forever and that person is never wrong (just ask him), and no, before the accusation is made, it isn't me. I just put her on my ignore list.
My dealer just recommended having it inspected and leaving it alone if the bcm is good. They said I can always have it done as long as the recall is left open.
You paid for the car, I assume, so you don't have to justify anything to anybody. I would recommend tinted windows though. I know where you live. Good back roads around there. I used to run my sport bikes around there......very fastly. 😁
My dealer just told me to just have the BCM inspected and leave the rest alone. As long as the recall is open, you can have it done. I'll take my chances.
Has anyone heard of or had a bad BCM?
Get Ford rubber floor mats. They're really good and worth it. It was part of my "do it or I walk away deal". Of course I wouldn't have walked away but I got a lot of stuff by being that way. Didn't pay extra for Race Red either.
People don't want to race me at stop lights or elsewhere.
You can see my car in the avatar. When I had a C5 Z06, everybody wanted to race me. It happened every single time I took it out. The Z06 looked "plainer" to me, but I'd rather not deal with idiots anyway. Not sure it wasn't as fast...
My dealer just told me no problems. He also said as long as the recall is open, the work can be done if anyone prefers not to have their car messed with. They do recommend checking the BCM.
