Could it be if you park on a hill and set your emergency brake? When you release your emergency break and then put it in reverse, it has to catch up. If i’m on a hill, I put it in park. I let it roll back a little bit. Then I set the emergency break with no pressure on the transmission.

The chimes don’t bother me. I just ignore them or turn down my hearing aids. If you put your seat belt on first there is no Chime.

I believe the Mustangs backseat is just for aesthetics. It’s not very functional unless you have a small pet or small children. I think the back seats just for show.
