With my S550 and now S650, I have never really put so much thought into number plates. The main reason is that crease line that means a number plate is always going to look wrong if it's been done slap happy.

I have the angled spacer, seeing those pics, it should account for the central crease. Question I have though, how do I approach this subject with the dealer. Do I insist that I'm present to install the plates? Do I ask them to not install the plates? Do I just leave it with them to sort it...

This was one of my concerns for most of that 2 year wait, so you have my sympathy. The lack of communication between Ford, Ford Australia, dealers and customers makes a situation you find yourself in highly probable. Ford should be compensating you for this in some form or another.
