a modest interior update and exterior styling change would make sense since Ford doesn't have money, and they are drastically short on EV precursor manufacturing and parts availability. What would be the point of making an already hopeless situation worse? Just run out the clock till 2030 and...
so 3 wankers on a channel who can't find/pay for an actual drag strip but use an old ww2 runway now dictate sales in the isles? Seriously, who makes decisions this shallow on pointless exhibitions? grow the hell up.
The S550 was the first mustang I ever wanted (ignoring <72 cause I wasn't born yet). The S197 was getting there but all the previous gen looked like utter shite. I can tolerate looking at SN95 but I'll never own one.
durability in racing context is something very divorced from DD use. If the previous engine could last say 3 weekends, that it can now (realistic?) last as low as 5 or even 7 weekends is a HUGE reduction in expense. And since it's also production-derived the parts are cheap as chips to boot...
The Aluminator doesn't have to meet emissions or longevity requirements. For 2.5x the price of a crate Coyote v3 you too could build a 8500-9000 rpm Gen3
pushrod engines have been turning 11,000+ RPM so it's not like Ford was pushing the envelop or nothing. DOHC lets you do nifty things like jank with the cam timing on both sides of combustion.
it's all OPM (other-people's money) aka wall St. in a hyper-inflationary period, you can protect your cash by buying physical things before it inflates into worthless fire starter.
The interest rates are going to ratchet up big time so getting commercial loans (which generally re-price/roll...
but how out of date is your 'internal' information? I guess MY designations are just as much fiction as Hogwarts' incantations, but to call a March/April '23 car a MY24 is stretching the truth/credibility even more than salt-water toffee.
If March '23 is J1 then obviously the orderbooks have to...
you can't put production ahead of reveal...
IMO Ford should just fix various stupid shortcuts and defects in S550 chassis design and call it done with a barely noteworthy bumper re-skin ala Mach1. Without an EV play sales numbers will continue their downward trend and anyway Mustang is a gnat...
'black' is a racially-charged word in USA lingo (according to "some"). So clearly the solution is to use 'blaque' or 'nero' (if you can excuse the tie-in to Emperor of same name and his ruthless conduct), but for max points 'noir' or 'preto' should be the term employed.
I agree, 4000% total...
