  1. How to deal with the garage dust (Should I install a garage filter?)

FIFY. I can create a dust storm that will blow around neighboring roads and properties for half an hour just mowing my lawn once the dry season hits. The dry season is March through February. One of these days I’ve got do sink about 40 grand for a well so I can get the water tyrants off my...

I have concert t shirts more than 27 years old... I think anyway. I know somewhere the early 90’s Van Halen shirt, and a Def Leppard of similar vintage. it’s from America’s original mean girls https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/12424/why-cant-you-wear-white-after-labor-day
  3. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

yeah I hear you @dusman59 See what I did there? ;-) I figure a 300w amp is plenty for stock stereo, maybe up to about 40-45w rms but that’s really marginal. db wise I can hear the stereo windows down at 70 in track exhaust mode so I don’t need a whole lot more power. My Rap has 75w x 4 +...
  4. I bought my brand new 2024 Mustang for $28,250

Koons Sterling... My wife bought a car there, back when ABS was an option. She wanted a car with ABS, made a whole thing out of it, got it on the sales sheet and all - drove out with a car that didn’t have it. she’s not a car enthusiast... the salesbot was trying to get rid of a...
  5. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

So, I swapped the DD/Redline 10” into the dynamat wrapped enclosure. I first tried with stock sub in the wrapped enclosure. No discernible change. Redline sub: Meh. Is it better? yes. Is it a LOT better? No. I’ll Amp it and be done with the affair at some point ( SHYeah. I’ll...
  6. Get More Horsepower with Steeda's Pro-Flow S650 Cold Air Intake for GT and Dark Horse!

#MeToo I had Steeda parts on 2 previous Mustangs, cannot complain about them. But it’s ok to point out this is a bit spendy. I can have an intake kit AND turbo inlet tubes for my Raptor at the same price point. The intakes go about $300-$400, single throttle body & filter.

Yup. Extreme ; “Get the Funk Out” ;-)
  8. Update to yesterday’s post regarding unsettling motion in rear suspension. DEALER LEFT BOLTS UNTIGHTENED

There was a Raptor owner on FRF who left dealer service without lug nuts on at least one wheel, I think it may have been 2 fronts. First turn was wonky, second turn was one wheel coming off. Reagan said it best: Trust but verify.
  9. Update to yesterday’s post regarding unsettling motion in rear suspension. DEALER LEFT BOLTS UNTIGHTENED

Hopefully you video taped your repair so you can take it back to the stealership and get the tech who worked on your car FIRED before he kills someone.
  10. 200,000 mi Coolant and 150,000 mi transmission fluid maintenance interval

Yeah, your use case has a LOT to do with it. If you track the car, even the occasional drag race / time trials, you’re on the severe duty schedule, not the long interval schedule.
  11. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

Alright, this is every scrap of dynamat I had on hand. I think Ihave about 98% coverage
  12. Clock Issue

Full credit for this one to @roadpilot IPC use the “easy method” scroll through the options list and select “Continous gear display" write the change and ... Bob’s your uncle, now the gear shows on all the days themes, even custom, Fox, ’68 etc.
  13. Clock Issue

Myth debunked, Jamie. At least for me, I don’t doubt you have the symptom. Drove the Dark Horse last night, still sporting the 24h time format. Solid advice right there. FORSCAN can be used to check and clear codes as well as make module changes. get rid of the double honk, get rid of the...
  14. Issue after getting rear axel and hub replaced. Dealer refuses to diagnose.

I’m fortunate to be a multi-vehicle owner with multiple garages, an adequate set of tools for most handyman level stuff and access to the internet... So I’m not exactly in your position. But... I have been. Please take this in the manner it’s intended, not as a personal criticism or throwing...
  15. Issue after getting rear axel and hub replaced. Dealer refuses to diagnose.

For the LOVE of all things HOLY.. Do NOT modify a vehicle with a known problem. Fix problem Then modify. If you modify and the problem remains, you’re no better off AND the stealership will immediately point to the aftermarket parts regardless of whether they were on there before, or not. If...
  16. Air intake carbon restrictors

Most people’s highly calibrated butt-o-meters are notoriously inaccurate. The only time I have ever felt a “seat of the pants” difference in power is when I’ve done a modification, gone to the dyno and found a prodigious dip in the power curve. YMMV of course.
  17. Best Dash Cam?

I got this one at the recommendation of a user at Ford Raptor Forum https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9TBZF8X?ref_=pe_386300_442618370_TE_sc_as_ri_0 Video is really good, audio is average with windows up, with windows down audio is below average. Here’s a screen shot of some impatient @sshole who...
  18. How to deal with the garage dust (Should I install a garage filter?)

it’s not clear to me how or why the dust is getting in there to begin with. Are you leaving the outside/garage door open for long periods? is it coming from indoors? are there vents in/out of the garage? if I leave the front door to my garage open for any amount of time, wind will blow all...
