For clarification, CA's state legislature crafted and passed their zero-emissions policies and standards. Twelve other states have since adopted the same. As of today, the legislation mentioned is in-tact.
I always encourage people to turn in...
The platform you're posting from can make a difference. Many attempting to do things from their cell phones or tablets have issues. PCs and Macs have fewer problems.
Check all Ad Blockers, Anti-Virus programs; many can prevent transfers.
Confirm the file size. There are limits. The largest...
BTW, until you confirm the nature of the leak and that it's fixed, be safe when starting and using the car. If the leak is constant and you're in a confined or steady space, there's the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning from underneath.
It appears to be so, yes.
I have factory exhaust, collecting similar fluid at the end tips which then dries.
It could be the exhaust leaks when cold, then seals quickly afterwards. At cool down, the leak returns.
It could also be a full-time leak.
If you can safely raise the car while...
I just waded into the 2025 Order Guide. This whole floor mat thing is confusing AF. Multiple Options. :curse:
Search floor mat in the attached, the price reference in-particular. Good Luck.
The times you have operated the A/C, is the condensing water emptying out into the pavement, as expected?
The heater core is always on, always has hot water circulating through it. I haven't studied the ducting before, but I'd expect the heater and A/C evaporator cores to be separated, in their...
The decrease in temps when the A/C is on is normal.
When the A/C is turned on, so the A/C works efficiently, at least one cooling fan engages.
Some in the southern states on the hottest days, if not already doing so, will turn the A/C on.
My '22 has the same behavior.
If I place it at all, I rest it on the dash. Everyone in my area without a front mount does same.
I've never been pulled over, questioned about it or been hassled over it.
IMO, LEOs, at least in my area, are encountering much more significant issues than a missing front plate.
YMMV.
As the unibody and later vehicle structure traverses the assembly line, it's placed on a rotating carriage, allowing for 360-degree spins. The bolts connect the car to the carriage.
At the given moment (not to soon! :giggle:), the car is disconnected from the carriage. The bolts are considered...
I have a '22 with the HP splitter and belly pan. At the front edge, it measures 6 inches / 15.25 cms of clearance. But at the lowest point, underneath, it measures 4.5 inches. / 11.4 cms.
The Owners Manual advises it's best not to attempt grades greater than 7 degrees. For maintenance, Race...
I put mine in storage at first snow.
There's the brine solution used. Along with it being a salt, I've found it somewhat tacky, to stay on surfaces.
Grit from sand laid. Most trucks do not have mudflaps, so it's akin to getting sandblasted sometimes.
Ice accumulation throughout the...
I was familiar with several deaths involving Jeeps, Ram Trucks, gear shift knobs, vehicles coming out of gear, people getting run over, etc. I later found a recall from Hyundai involving wiring.
I then googled, "vehicle safety cannot move when door open", and found several models and years...
There's one Toyota in my area with the Lime Rush color. On a 4Runner in the Sun, it looks nice.
Ford has metallic Sunshine Yellow (Gold/Yellow). Again, on a clean vehicle in the Sun, it can present well.
No offense to anyone considering. Colors like this, if buying and holding, all the best...
No, you are correct.
I prefer checking hot; IMO, that's the closest to seeing at what level the engine is running at. Cold, is more of a time, like 1 hour or the next day? Ambient air temperature of the car now versus last week? Just seems different or a more inconsistent.
The Owners Manual has a few comments on oil checking and consumption.
With respect to checking, Ford recommends [I prefer] doing that when the engine is at it's normal operating temperature (hot), 15 mins after shutdown, on a level surface.
With respect to oil consumption, Ford mentions it can...
Disclosure: I'm not a lawyer. I've never filed a warranty claim.
From the 2024 Warranty Guide, Page 19.

These are things I can think of.
I wouldn't go too crazy at first. Go slow. There are some really nice sets out there, at sometimes good prices. But the larger the set is, you often end up with several specialized bits you rarely use.
I grew up with Craftsman, so I gravitate towards that...
