looks like there is no optional non-hp wheel for the dark horse, it's either non-hp, hp, or cf
also all wheels but the base ecoboost dont have pictures yet
i was just checking if they were out before i went to work and they are!
edit: price guide now out, attached
NOTICE: There is no promise that these are up to date now, reach out to your dealer for the latest information!
2024 Mustang Order Guides
8/1/23 - 2024 Mustang Order Guide
7/3/23 -...
i forgot to mention this earlier, but i asked the guy who does new vehicle orders for some more information and he told me that the units dealers get from early production (not orders) are built randomly by Ford and the dealers have no say in options, but there will likely not be any dark horses...
when I get home, I'll skim the VOD for more info, but I got a screenshot of the stream and here's some key dates
Week of Feb 27th - order guide and pricing available, dealer training materials on esourcebooks, Ford.com updated with hero PEP packages
Early March - dealers offered early build...
according to the FDNB from Feb 10th, carbon fiber wheels are late availability, and vehicles with them will be built starting August 28th, 2023
the sales code for them is also "64P"
someone at my dealership told me that Ford is going to be talking to dealers about the '24 Mustang on the 20th
nothing was mentioned about what will be talked about, but this is a very good sign that things might be happening soon
probably not the only company, Koenigsegg in 2014 had 19"X10" CF wheels that weighed 13lbs on the One:1
unless you're talking mass production, then yes, i think Carbon Revolution more or less has a monopoly on the carbon fiber wheel market
the "connected vehicle" feature has 5 main things
odometer, fuel level (including miles to empty), tire pressures, oil life, and all DTCs within the last 60 days
example using my current Mustang
yep, found that there are 18 pre-production dark horses and some other stuff like how some package names haven't been updated yet and refer to the Mach 1
interesting that Ford Authority got this info before Ford even added it to their systems
it looks like i was also kinda close with my guess of how much a fully optioned dark horse would be (~$85k)
still no word about the Technology Package, interestingly, which i did see listed on some pre-prod...
appearance package allows you to get Blue Ember, plus gives you the Notorious Blue with Grabber Blue brake calipers, and maybe (this is still unconfirmed) blue carbon fiber wheels instead of black
