Has anyone had transmission whine from their 10R80? Ford has a TSB on the issue and claims it is the straight cut gears on the transmission fluid pump. Mine whines a bit until I hit about 20-25 mph, after that I can't hear it. BTW the S650 transmission shifts amazingly imo.

@Hawkeye ..... doesn't happen at all with the manual, at least not for the same reason. It is the straight cut gears for the auto transmission's fluid pump that make the noise. It is a bit annoying at low speeds where there is a wall like in a garage or a drive through and the sound reverberates...

@FrankAR15 ...... just changed the oil at 3000 miles on my 2024 Mustang GT. I used Motorcraft FULL synthetic 5W-30 and the Motorcraft oil filter. I had the tech prefill the oil filter with oil to soak the filter's filter media then add some more oil before installing it. I am now a 4000 miles...
