From some random car research website:
Research published by the Federal Reserve shows the age of a new car or truck buyer has grown older over the past decade. It is now around 53 years old. They also note that among new vehicles buyers, the 55+ age group has a 15 percentage point increase...
I know last time I bought a new car I got $60 to fill out this survey
What other cars did you look at
What factored into your choice
How would you rate this or that
Would be interesting to see what people that also looked at the Mustang, but didn't buy it, ended up going with
You could have...
In 2018 the Mustang GT started at $36,185....let's not forgot guys were getting them brand new for 30k, and getting a way lower interest rate
Now it's up $10k or about 30%
Same car, except for the tablets, drift stick, remote rev keyfob, and Honda Accord front fascia
Sure, you can argue...
you're out of touch with the car aftermarket...
there are forums full of bmw owners modifying and tuning their cars and not just installing brake caliper covers and arguing about having half a quart too much or too little oil
They might have bought a Supra or BMW, they might have bought a Corvette, or most likely they just kept the late model Mustang they already had (or bought a used one)

Think about it this way...
The car companies want your car to last through the warranty period. Or at least the beancounters need at least a certain large percentage of them to make it through.
After that, do you think they care? Do you really think they want you driving your vehicle until the...
Never had an issue removing the plug and not making a mess. Usually using a big pan that has the raised section that holds the filter, while it drains, when you remove the filter it makes a mess (you can do the thing where you use a plastic bag...), but again those large pans have enough space...
Ford made too many Mach E's and had to get rid of them. They were up to $13,000 off around here
they aren't "pushing" them they did anything they could to get them off the books
if they only sold 3,000 Mustang GT's in six months and had them piling up on the lots they would do the same thing!
