Had you checked the oil before the 1000km? Because the factory fill seems to only show halfway on the dipstick markings, not at the full dot. I thought the same as you when I first checked it, but it turned out not to use any oil of note.

I know of the dark side, but the Siciliani we met were some of the nicest people . Especially in Sciacca. It had the nicest "feel' about it. Like a really close knit community.
