How do you do FORSCAN updates? I want to turn off Active Noise Cancelling on my 24 GT, which is done with FORSCAN, but my dealer doesn't have it. Is there a way for me to do it?
Found out today that my dealer doesn't have FORSCAN. They don't know what's causing the problem, so they can't fix it. I think ANC is probably the culprit. The noises have mostly stopped, at least nowhere near the previous levels. I guess I'll live with it unless it gets worse.
Think the Active Noise Cancellation theory deserves a close look. Apparently it can be disabled via Forscan, but I don’t know how to access Forscan. I'll talk to my dealer about it.
Ford Passenger Team was supposed to contact me, but it's been more than two months and no contact. I haven't pushed this because we have had the top down most if the time and there's no problem there. I have had it up briefly a couple times and it's not as bad as it was - almost tolerable...
If you want to pay for a repair you will most probably never need, buy an extended warranty. Doesn't matter which one you choose. This applies to cars, appliances, and most everything else.
Not resolved, but not sure it's still there since we almost always have the top down this time of year. Was supposed to be contacted by someone from the Ford Passenger Vehicle Team weeks ago, and have a case number assigned, but no contact to date. The dealer service department has...
I'm surprised to find that any Mustang owner is OK with the start/stop thing. I hate it, and always turn it off. I have the harness to disable it, but haven't installed yet.
It's probably not the track. The fix is to spray some silicon lube on the top fabric strip that seals against the top of the window. My 2017 convertible had the same problem. It's pretty common. Needs to be treated every 6 months or so.
