@Skye I’ll give you another plausible situation… they likely were out of spoilers and kept the line running with the idea “we’ll repair/install later” Once those type of decisions are made by management… quality can easily fall out of spec. They build cars missing parts all the time… building...

great point….there are not minutes…. There are roughly 54 seconds… that’s all.. To go and extra layer a minute of downtime is $10,000 lost… the company can’t afford that, so if it’s too much of a problem, it’s cheaper to warranty the repair individually through a dealer. a quick google search...

Because some of us understand the industry. It’s too much to explain but either you understand the process or don’t. And , yes… you have a few spots that are out of spec or were close enough that an inspector signed off on it. again… this is common on car’s quadruple the cost… so take that out.

Unbelievable expectations from the public… if you want bespoke precision tolerances you’ll be paying significantly higher prices. it’s a mustang not a Richard Mille. Perhaps Bugatti or Pagani have tighter gap tolerances for your next vehicle. 911s have these issues at quadruple the price.

Just the phrase “clean sheet” sounds like 5-10 BILLION in capex minimum…. I.e… not in this fiscal environment… not until EV investment becomes profitable at a minimum.

If you had a 350R like your tag says… it IS a different car… you’d need to compare it to a dark horse R… a more light weight track specific modern equivalent.

If you’re that worried about warranty, talk about it with their service department and have them do the install if they say it’s still intact. get a receipt signed off by management about your concerns…. I could see that being 4-5 grand though. half the price of an aluminator if you lost an...
