@Eli GT ..... I always check my oil when it is hot. I let it drain down for 10-15 minutes, any longer won't yield much difference. Agreed - I don't trust original factory fills, dealer PDI or service departments to provide the correct oil level. I always check.

@Junkyard Dog ..... that would be correct. There isn't enough of a change to notice that. We ran dyno tests on switchable exhausts connected to CMI headers to account for various no wake zone decibel readings and there were not measurable differenced between the final selections.

@Eli GT ..... agree 100% with all you say and I repeat - if you want 5W-30 FULL synthetic you will almost certainly have to purchase in bottle/jug format to give to the tech. IMO that is the only way to guarantee you get 5W-30 FULL synthetic.
