You’re 100% correct about stellantis, perhaps we have a real recession and some companies get wiped out again… what did we lose last time? Plymouth, Pontiac, mercury, Saturn, Oldsmobile… I think we could definitely lose Fiat, Buick, Lincoln and Chrysler this time around.

Ford is focused on margins finally… no more selling at a loss and making it up with volume… if they can’t net 8-10%… and OVER 10% is stated goals, no point building it. So… 60,70,80K trucks and 50,60,70K mustangs. This is also why they were laser focused on switching to EVs..Tesla had margins...

Because Ford goes to great lengths to reduce NVH on these cars. So I found it odd that an operator would go out of their way to listen/look for it. Anyways 100% normal and to be expected startup sounds from a combustion engine. Enjoy 😉 👍

Why are you popping the hood to listen to cold starts? There is an insulation lining attached to the underside of the hood for NVH reduction. Try closing the hood, the doors and the windows before you start the car (as intended) And report back.

What are you powering those sundowns with? I’m a big fan I have 1 SA12 in a ported box with a jp8 wired down to 1 ohm and for a single 12 it hits sooo low and nasty! But it feels like it wants 500 more watts lol, I think the jp8 tested close to 1400 on amp dyno vids
