In fairness to your friend the 500 is REALLY bad, it must have a smaller tank or something, my friend drove from Mi to Fl and he basically had to stop and fill up every 100ish miles… like hour-hour half.. gas station… rinse repeat
Nope, Ford and dealers are separate entities.
Post some pics so we can see how bad it is.
But if I understand, dealer did work on your car, damaged the paint and is not willing to repair the paint damage?
They need to finally do something with the 3.5/3.7 ecoboosts… AND let it be tuneable..
The v8 crowd will scream wail and clutch their pearls all while seeing nothing but tail lights!
We had a 10spd, 3.7TT mule when I first started, car never made it past testing but I was told it flat out...
I’ve been in meetings all week, I can tell you with 100% certainty that Fords current focus is on reducing scrap costs… everything else be damned.
Total focus on reducing scrap per vehicle and getting 90% plus first time through off the line.
Nothing is changing but pinching pennies anywhere...
The only people complaining about the price are the poors or people that didn’t buy a 2024..
I don’t think price is as big of a deal as people make it out to be
1. It’s not going to ever get less expensive
2. And it’s Not going backwards as far as technology advancement.
So once all the...
Ford should be also doing a Lincoln version of the mustang, ultra premium interior etc…
Like the Cadillac XLR/vette.
Perhaps that generates another 10-20k unit sales for the platform.
Bring back “hot rod Lincoln “ mentality.
Probably a Shelby GT, those used to be the cheap poverty spec money grab.
Seems right inline as I read something about them expanding their garages for more output.
Are you planning on boost? It seems aftermarket cats are weaker than OEM..
anyway, plan on a check engine light. I wouldn’t run kooks cats, if you are set on cats, get the GESI big ones… they’re a few grand and seem to be the only aftermarket that last.
For me personally this dual 3” jones max...
Yeah just get the audio control LC2i, tap into the rear speakers, they make t taps that are perfect, no remote needed, it turns itself on when signal is present. Also adjusts for bass roll off.
Disconnect ANC plug and done, easy easy easy
The other thing they could do is go all in on 5.4 or even a 5.8 coyote architecture…
Easily could have everyone riding around in 600HPN/A 8500 rpm 5.8s..
Need something revolutionary.
They need to make the whipple kits OEM…
Base GTs making 850HP for under 60k from ford would turn the industry on its head, hell, use 2.65 eatons… still be 750/800 ish.
Point is they can make a jaw dropping performer from the factory… instead of the DIY/aftermarket crowd.
Mine also, and I work in paint, when I was taking delivery I was all over not just the exterior, sealer lines, jams, cuts etc… car is excellent, dealer thought I was a weirdo
Tire compound is the only thing that matters for traction.
A 305 (if it’s a nitto G2) will never compare to a 275 nitto R2.
For traction you want Mickey Thompson Et street R or SS.
