  1. Tall gearing on MT82

I also think 10 gears is 2 or 3 too many, but it does work well. At least in mine it does. It never hunts for gears and keeps the revs at the right point whether your cruising or getting feral. Sport and track modes are very well done. I do like paddle shifting too.
  2. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

Welcome. Lots of info and helpful advice here.
  3. Tall gearing on MT82

Watch Misha Charoudins Nurburgring vids with getrag Mustangs, he changes into 6th and they fall right off the power band. It may not be such an issue for normal street driving though. I'm guessing your roads are more winding than straight, like ours? The 10 speed may be a better bet.
  4. Window Tint

Fortunately, she cut and ran before she was booted out. Equally fortunately the new Govt has some strong supporters of shooting sports.
  5. Auto stop start on a 2025 GT premium.

It's a bit of a pisstake Ryan. Don't take it personally. Like all pisstakes, there is an element of truth there. We took an Ev Uber recently, and he was raving on about never having to do maintenance on it. Just what I wanted to hear from a cab driver. We actually thought about an EV years ago...
  6. Auto stop start on a 2025 GT premium.

I love tree huggers. They actually believe in perpetual motion. They think that EV's need no maintenance at all. And that they'll save the planet. They have Greta in their w âš“ bank. And take private jets and/or Mustangs to climate change hugfests.
  7. U-DRAGS: Supercharged Dark Horse vs BMW M4 Comp

Yep, my AWD 300hp Cupra was as quick to 100kmh as the Ford. But from then on, no chance against 486hp.
  8. New Engine - Weird feeling - OBD2 connector live data

Just to add to Skye's excellent advice, use electronic contact cleaner on the connectors as well. I narrowly avoided having to buy very expensive BCM for one car by cleaning connectors, bulb contacts etc.
  9. Need opinions on first performance upgrades on my s550

I don't know specifically with the Coyote, but a general rule is that a tune boosts mid range and top end in N/A engines. A blower is the answer for low end grunt.
  10. New Goodyear tires!

I think Michelin have some witch doctors on the research team. It's the same with their bike tyres, great grip and long life, it ain't natural.
  11. Window Tint

I wasn't specifically referring to your case, just a general statement how I'd be concerned as a cop. I'm certainly not nervous about guns, I've owned many since I was 15. Not into hunting much now, but do enjoy shooting still. The interesting thing is down here, we now have a lot more gun...
  12. New Goodyear tires!

I felt the same when I switched. Don't forget PS5 rolling resistance is nearly down with eco tyres. A few bucks saved on gas, or drive faster for the same money.
  13. Window Tint

To be honest, when I was a cop, and if we had the number of guns around that there is in the 'States, I'd be hard on window tints too.
  14. PPF on matte surfaces.

Yes. I asked my guy about PPF for matte finishes and he talked about special matte PPF, I was considering it until I saw the price of the matte paint option 🤯
  15. I will NOT be ordering a SC DH

OK, what I was getting at was, the guys clearly not short of a buck, so why not go for the leader of the pack. Unless he's a loonie like I was and is putting his last cent into it. I was working on $150k plus $50k. Is the SC only going to be $125k?
  16. I will NOT be ordering a SC DH

If he's got that much loose change, why not go GTD?
  17. PPF on matte surfaces.

My PPF guy said there is a matte PPf and he's used it, it works well. He didn't say he's had to remove any though.
