Hhhhhmmmm?????? Need to keep a closer eye on this bunch. Some of them are showing definite signs of youthful over exuberance and anti social driving tendencies.
I read "somewhere" the 486 HP and 414 lb/ft TQ results from the AE exhaust being set to track mode and the car running on 93 O gas. Which makes sense if I'm remembering all that correctly.
Also, "I think" the 5.0 is rated for anything between 87 and 93 O gas; the ECU/PCM will detect fuel...
Yikes! I've had Borla cat backs on my last two cars. Excellent fit, finish, and ease of install, but damn! I only paid about a $1000 for the ST cat back and $1100 for the RS cat back (March 2021)!
2 grand for an axle back?! i hate to think how many liquor stores I'd have to stick up to...
 Mine doesn't, and I was looking at another person's 2024 GT today and his did not either. Your dealer is full of ****.
Just sayin..................
Hope you get it sorted to your satisfaction!
Reminds me of the scene in 3000 Miles to Graceland where the Kevin Costner character gets pulled over by a revolver twirling State Trooper (the day two psychos met!).
Action starts at about the 60 sec mark.
Bad boys! Bad boys!
Whatcha gonna do; whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
As a 31 year veteran of law enforcement, criminal justice, and high risk security and who has 2 immediate family members who are police officers) let me share some tips, tricks, and subtle psychological ploys to...
At my dealer or at Livernois Motorsports (I was in for some minor work and a 93 O dyno tune).
Obviously; the undertray is "out of sight.................". Didn't discover it was gone until a couple months after the fact when my bud and I ran the RS up on his hoist to replace the...
 Funny you should mention that! On one oil/filter change on the Focus RS I traded in on my GT; never mind the tech putting all the under tray screws and fasteners back in; he left the freakin under tray off!
Seems like he would have noticed he had extra parts left over after the...

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with LMS, r.e. a 93 O dyno tune for my GT.
The customer rep I spoke with told me they've had little to no luck cracking Ford's Mustang GT ECU/PCM code "so far". Guess I'll be saving my pennies up for a while longer!
Right on!
Your point about tuning vs an after market intake (and exhaust for that matter) parallels my experience and observation/s on my former 2016 Focus RS (another Ford hot rod that had a lot of well thought out and designed engineering put into it). Bone stock RS CAIs and exhausts will...
If it were me, and my dealer did push back (they wouldn't--stand up dealer)
I'd contact Ford directly about it.
My incomplete "warranty understanding" is the dealer does the repair, and corporate pays for it. So, why would a dealer push back?
Best of luck getting it sorted!
I respectfully disagree. At the first start up of the day, virtually all the oil in your engine's moving parts has drained back down into the pan. Letting it idle for 1 to 2 mins on start up, allows your oil pick up & pump to get that vital oil circulating and lubricating the moving engine...
