i took my center console apart to investigate this. it looks like the fan that blows air is actually pulling air from the charger and pushing it under the center console, not blowing air onto the phone
likely a mix of cost cutting and people complaining about their phones heating up. it looks to potentially be really easy to retrofit if thats something you want to do
best thing you can do in this situation is leave a very negative review, and do it while connected to dealer wifi. dealers GMs will get an e-mail from Ford questioning integrity and potentially a strike if one of those Ford surveys is completed while connected to the dealer wifi; an effort to...
hit my first animal last night. i was going to get some boba from Scottsdale Quarter, and there was a dead coyote in the road. it did no damage, but i had to turn back home and clean the blood off my splitter. the whole drive to Scottsdale Quarter smelled like burning fur. no damage overall. i...
after about a week with the Redtiger F77 V2, i can say with confidence that, for the time being, this is not the dash cam you want. the 4k front and rear is cool, but it covers up a not good and in some cases bad firmware. this review may sound harsh, but expectations are high for such a high...
not sure if it counts as a wrap, but i had vinyl stripes and a roof wrap put on mine about a year and a half ago. partially inspired by the Mach-E and the Dark Horse painted stripes
as another Arizona resident, i can confirm that i have had no issues with my screens refusing to work due to heat. even when its over 110 degrees outside, when the average vehicle will be ~160 inside after 90 minutes, i have had no issues. a sun shade will definitely help, but it strikes me as...
i had my roof wrapped gloss black about a year and a half ago and its been doing great so far. the car sits outside for half the day and inside for the other half for 5 of the 7 days of the week. i have had no issues apart from self-inflicted ones like not removing some stuff quick enough and...
i dont know about importing vehicles, but i can speak a bit about the technical stuff
1. there is no EcoBoost in Europe. the EcoBoost is limited to the US and Japan market, and some other minor places.
2. taillights should be easy enough to make european compliant due to the wiring between a US...
its possible you could have unknowingly hit the trunk release button on the headlight switch. when i was a lot attendant, i did that a lot on Focuses and Fiestas because it seems like the drivers of those are short, but being 6' 1", i am not, and i frequently hit the button with my knee
technically no, the place where the trunk would be is now dedicated to the transaxle heat exchanger, and OP's problem seems to be something to do with a change he made to the BCM or something. i have had no trunk-related issues from doing the amber DRLs
and yes, this does work on 2024 job 1 vehicles, but you NEED to program the HCM with a 2024 job 2 or later programming. also change the VIN in the HCM afterwards with your own, or any subsequent FDRS sessions on the vehicle will complain about a VIN mismatch
also, quick disclaimer to protect me...
yeah, it "fits" and works, but the fit isnt that good, and i have a need to make everything work perfectly. i was originally thinking an adapter for the Corsair cupholder, but i now have a full 3D scan of the stock Mustang cupholder, and found that the Lincoln Aviator has an individual light-up...
