That makes zero sense, the whole point of E30 is the alcohol burns like 500 degrees cooler than 93 octane… that’s where the power and spark tolerance comes from.
@Billycar11
I felt it as soon as I read the title… oooh
I literally just washed my car and detailed it a few hours ago and I refuse to go near my exhaust tips now, I’m too flippant and clumsy when I’m drying it.
Learned once, I’ll use gloves if I’m gonna polish them
@smurfslayer
on the predator/ raptor R they have a much stronger honeycomb construction and are larger 2-3/4” so they are able to flow much more and are less prone to collapsing
as a matter of fact for cars that DO want to run cats those would be ideal, I’ve seen someone on mustang6g iirc run...
No, the big issue with that is cars that don’t have tailpipes out the back, like a foxbody with axle dumps.
if I’m in an enclosed area like a garage it can be noticeable sure on 93/petrol based… on E30 there is enough alcohol that I never notice a thing.
this is why I always pound the table on getting cats off boosted cars.
And no, kooks green aren’t any safer, after market stuff is more likely to break down digging through mustang6g
I know not everyone can due to their local state laws and stuff.
Great thread! I am super glad I ordered my 24 when the banks opened up, I put it up for sale but I need to keep it until Ford makes an absolute animal (and I don’t know that happens again) GTD excluded obv.
I definitely wouldn’t be shopping for a new mustang today, I’d either be looking used...
Correct, the next gen is/was.
And it adds some context to the topic, which is why we’ll see the S650 dragged out as long as possible
they planned on the S650 to bridge the gap to EV, now a lot of that is pushed out several years and decisions need to be made.
even if hybrid is on the table...
The company was firmly set on going fully electric and is now shuffling and back peddling from the backlash pendulum swing.
beyond the rumored vehicles you listed, the company itself has to still make a decision what they’re gonna do moving forward (they really REALLY were planning for EV)
so...
All these warranty worriers are soo overblown, it’s fine, the powertrain is stout, I haven’t heard of a single s650 give up the ghost aside from H.O.B. Car making over 1100WHP…
your stage 1 cars don’t even make enough power to break anything other than maybe a half shaft.
no clue, I don’t even do back to back pulls in my car, honestly for road/track I’d go straight to a GT350R or something light/stout/NA.. maybe C6Z06
The VMP plug n play. Me and dozens of others if not hundreds of others have zero issues with BAP/E30/pulley
I’d be far far more concerned with getting cats off.
Catless but replace the resonator with jones maxflow dual 3” muffler (it’s a muffled X pipe)
really in quiet mode my car is quieter than it was stock, in track mode it’s very aggressive with crisp tone/volume
Here is cold start
And track mode
