  1. Do you store your car in winter and why if or not

I bought mine to drive so If the roads are clear, I'm good to go. Remote start, heated seats, heated steering wheel, climate control is perfect for cold days, not to mention the thing runs like a beast in that dry cold air. If there is a foot of snow on the ground I'll keep her in the garage and...
  2. Track options...

Yeah, Dragy is the way. Though on my track timer I got a 3.89, A10, Drag Mode, level road, warm tires 30psi, premium fuel, not accurate but looks good. You should be able to cheat it to under 4, going downhill
  3. Oil consumption

Much smoother shifts and no more hunting for gears in Normal Mode, a bit more responsive in Sport and Track. Only cleared it twice, been 6 months now and still feels good, though I have learned where the sweet spots are for the car now. 4K - 5K RPM is where the car wakes up, unfortunately for...
  4. Oil consumption

Service procedure, takes about 30 seconds
  5. Why did you choose an automatic over a manual.

    1) It's faster... 2) My old knees are wrecked, and I ain't getting any younger
  6. My car feels slow

Had mine about a year now. The thing that nagged me at first(and still does) is the horrid throttle by wire response, 500ms delay drives me nuts. It is a heavy car, though once I get up in the 4K-5K RPM it is a beast. Problem is on the street, 5K + RPM's is sreamin for trouble
  7. Trickle charger recommendation for winter storage.

Makes sense, thanks! I'm wired to the chassis and jumper post. Do you know if it would be safe to remote start the car while its on the maintainer?
  8. Safe to use remote start, while the car is plugged into the Noco 5 maintainer?

As usual, Google you get "no problem" or "hell no" Reason, remote start so the car can warm up, then disconnect and go.
  9. Automatic Software Updates

Yes, I never connected to my home wifi and received every OTA update so far. Just make sure Automatic Update is switched on. Note if the the car has sat for awhile or goes into battery save mode, it might not update till you start the car.
  10. Battery saving mode.

All seasons, If not driven for more than a week, NOCO 5A maintainer = no problems.
  11. Oil consumption

Ford gave me the same BS, a week just to check the trans fluid level and run diagnostics, no thanks. A10 shudder 4th to 5th gear is known and normal, I have it. Also the adaptive learning tables could be acting up. I cleared mine in FORScan and it helped smooth out shifts and no more hunting...
  12. After two months of ownership...

4 door Mustang... Count me out! Time for a C8 I guess Innovation for the Mustang should NOT be adding doors, it should be eliminating the back seats and move toward a Mid engine design. IMHO
  13. My Color keeps changing on it's own!

    1. With the ignition on, move the memory positions to the preferred positions. 2. Press and hold the preferred preset button for about five seconds. A tone sounds after about two seconds. Continue holding until you hear a second tone. 3. Within three seconds, press the lock button on the remote...
  14. My Color keeps changing on it's own!

Yeah it saves to your custom profile. Adjust my seats, mirrors, lighting etc... Press and hold 1 for three seconds... Saved! Anytime it acts up, just press 1, fixed
  15. My Color keeps changing on it's own!

Yep, happens occasionally... I just tap the profile 1 button on the door panel and back to norm
  16. Anyone know in FORScan what "PCM reset all adaptations" does?

Yeah very common on the A10. I noticed after clearing the tables it is least noticeable in Normal mode driving normal. By that I mean giving it mid throttle when accelerating. Not too much and not too little. In fact when I go light on the pedal in Normal mode it is the worst. Of course the...
  17. Anyone know in FORScan what "PCM reset all adaptations" does?

You just click the gear icon to get to "Service Procedures" and clear the transmission adaptive tables. I have done this a few times, it helped the first time get smoother shifts though the 3-4 shudder or pause is still there. This is a very common issue on all 10r80 trans.
  18. High IATs

Normal for me on a 70 deg day to see 150+ IAT when its back in the garage and idle. Once I put her away I usually open the hood up for awhile, that kind of trapped heat can not be good for all that plastic in there. Car really needs a bigger hood vent IMO think GT500?
