Remember all the EB owners bringing up that C&D 2024 Ecoboost review because it was much faster than any other model? That 7.5 60-100 is not right then?
Is my 1/4 mile and 0-60 math earlier is wrong? And the car magazines testing equipment is wrong?
Do all cars run faster than the magazines...
The weight of the entire factory system is 72lbs. You have to add back the weight of the new catback when you install it.
So you're probably saving 25-30lbs with a new one
Some people are trying to add the factory setup to a non-AE car

I would go with one of the cheaper setups that are 304 stainless. The crappy ones are 409 or aluminized, you don't want that. And the prices that Corsa, Borla, and Magnaflow want these days are insane. Good quality (not great) but what you get for your money, especially with an...
im just quoting what the car magazines publish
do you have a dragy time? I trust their equipment to be more accurate than the in car timer or whatever you're using to meausre
even their ringer 2024 car (the one road and track tested was much slower in the 1/4) took 7.5 to do 60-100
here's an...
Something to think about, if the SS 1LE is only slightly behind the Dark Horse...
it's going to take more than what you've done so far. Vorshlag modified a 2018 GT quite a bit and it was still only as fast as a bone stock DH...
Let's be realistic and do the math:
let's say your EcoBoost does 0-60 in 5.5 seconds
and then let's say it does the quarter mile in 13.9 seconds at 101mph
13.9 minus 5.5 is....8.4 seconds
so that means it takes your EcoBoost 8.4 seconds to go from 60 to 101 mph
so your 70-100mph time is...
Plus the "dry" spinning of the engine (it's not dry, so there's not even a point to doing this)
when you prime an engine you just push oil or turn only the oil pump (older engines), you don't spin the whole engine....
