    I like clean cars, but it seems mine are never clean. I have a hard time keeping them so. Every time I wash them, God schedules rain immediately. In addition, it is hot and sunny, and I live on a well, so I frequently have a hard time with not leaving water spots on the car. :whew:

    I did not read carefully and thought for a moment there that you HAD a GTD out for an HPDE day . . . Michelin Cup 2R tires, 140 treadwear. That, and the Trofeo RS on the Dark Horse, 180 treadwear. Ford is not afraid to stick some aggressive, sticky track focused tires on its cars.

    Why would a winter blend do it? Nobody is having these issues without forced induction. This means forced induction did it.

    Great post, but I am surprised that with decades of tracking you did not go for the handling package. Are you saying that you were in Track Mode but the car was emergency braking without you wanting it to do so?

    So one can of $12 or $22 or $34? Because on a 16 gallon tank, and a 2-3 tankful track day, that could definitely add a significant sum to the cost.
