If your car is "in production" and has an ETA just ignore it. I think at this point, whenever we start seeing "produced" or "shipped" then we can take the ETA serious.
Magneride as a stock suspension is great. I plan on "upgrading" my suspension, so I don't value it as much as someone who plans to leave their car stock. That's part of the reason these are "options" and not standard equipment.
I didnt mean to sounds like I was defending Ford, but I also realize that a 4 month turnaround from order to delivered in this landscape would be unrealistic especially on a '24 MY "all new" model.
Im traveling to Iowa from California to pick up my Mustang so I would LOVE to get an ETA or even...
Whos feeding ya crap besides this forum?
Ford isn't saying anything, but theyre also not technically behind on their schedule.
If this was months October then maybe I wouldn't be as understanding, but its not even end of July and we all placed orders not even 4 months ago.
Why exactly do you need to know what is holding them back?
The car is being held, thats all there is to it. You should be excited that your car exists and just waiting for whatever it is that is being held back.
We are going though something similar at my job. We let customers know there will...
I dont think anything is shipping until the tracker says it is built and shipped.
We can guess all we want, but there is obviously holding something back, and we aren't going to find out what that is. Even if it is the OKTB, we dont know what is holding that back.
I would think twice about a darkhorse wing on a non-pp GT.
Thats just me tho, I dont like the idea of bringing body panels over from higher trimmed models.
Seriously, I was waiting for a Supra for 7 months before I would even know if I could place an order. I waited over a year for a manual 23 Nissan Z to hit my dealership before I just gave up.
I've only been waiting less then 4 months and my car is already in production! At least I know it...
Leveraging OTA for new Dash themes would be wild!
They'll never let random people make cluster gauges, but new Ford designed or Ford collaborated clusters would be amazing!
Dealers wouldn't even let me use x-plan for the Mustang.
Ford is better then most dealerships in terms of MSRP but a wolf doesn't change its stripes. Dealerships still want to make the most money they can.
Im interested in knowing what RTR did with their suspension that causes the steering to feel better. No way the steering doesnt get better with wider stickier 30 sidewall tires and lower stiffer suspension. Can't feel much on any car that is floating through corners.
Ford credit has always had good promotional rates, I would expect them to do something for the 2024 Mustang. Hopefully this year, and not well after we all take delivery.
Nice!
Any progress is good progress. I really wish that we would have more information, but being as these are the initial batch of cars, I understand that there are other obstacles that future people wont have to deal with.
As with any mod, dont "upgrade it" unless you notice you need it, or already know you need it based on prior experience.
No need for wider or stickier tires if you aren't at the end of the range for your current tires grip.
Part of the reason for me not getting the PP was I didn't like the...
Your dealership shouldn't even be listing your car for sale if you have a deposit down.
The fact that they already decided to include 4K of add-ons before they even got it is not a good sign of things to come.
You need to contact your dealership and have them explain their actions. Last thing...
Thats not even a guess, thats just what the timeline is.
Should be looking at 2-3 weeks after they start shipping, which hasn't happened but can any day.
