The only thing I heard is that I basically have a ferrari.
Epic
Would love to know how much of a difference running a flat plane crank would make in combination with the dual throttle bodies. That firing order could probably make far better use of the dual bodies.
And a tuned ecoboost couldn't beat a tuned 400Z. Its not that the Z is a bad car, its that the market is ever shrinking and the Z offers nothing to differentiate itself from the competition.
The mustang has a V8, the GR86 and Miata have a low-tech and nanny experience alongside a low entry...
Such a stellar car. Its funny, going from working on Jag’s and Healey’s to these, and its hardly any different. The Japanese really just took what was great about those cars, copied it, made it more reliable, and sold it.
Such a great engine, truly
It settles down completely. Very comfortable. Its a really great brand new 25 year old car, lmao. It feels like a refined 350 or 370z, which is sort of refreshing considered what most modern cars have become.
The new Z doesnt feel like a rolling computer as much as most new cars do, or at the...
its not even comparable, tbh. Modern turbos are soooo much quicker to spool.
but imo, if I want a turbo car, its a sedan with a fuckoff caterpillar turbo that takes two business days to spool, and sends the car to a different dimension once it does.
turbo’s are for highway sailing, imo. In the...
Nah, very little lag. Modern turbo’s are very quick to spool once you’re in the threshold.
there is definitely a threshold though. Its been awhile, but if I recall correctly, below around 2000 or 2200 rpm it’s sorta dead in the water.
its a surprisingly softly sprung car, but also very controllable. Getting sideways is super nice in it. Also great shifter/clutch combo. Lots of torque throughout the rev range, and the boost threshold is fairly low.
The only thing I didnt like about the car was its engine. Twin turbo’ V6...
