  1. Paint bubble on trunk lid, Ford denying warranty claims. Do I have any options?

These are just my pictures. The manager took her own. The last time I saw her I came straight from the detail shop for a one week checkup on their PPF work, at their request I washed the car earlier that day so they could see any potential problems with lifting etc. The car was spotless and it...
  2. Paint bubble on trunk lid, Ford denying warranty claims. Do I have any options?

Thanks for the input, it'll help me be a bit more coherent when arguing my case. Your solution is pretty much spot on with what the manager said to me. She told me all they need is for Ford to approve the warranty job so they get reimbursed, which is apparently the problem.
  3. Paint bubble on trunk lid, Ford denying warranty claims. Do I have any options?

I thought so too, so I just changed it to, "Warranty claim pending approval for paint bubble". 'Sorry, there was a problem :((((' Ok. "Paint prepped and Full body XPel Fusion PPF applied at Such and Such Shop located at Place. PPF given specific time to cure and vehicle was retrieved"...
  4. Paint bubble on trunk lid, Ford denying warranty claims. Do I have any options?

I didn't think I had a picture on hand but I do. 3/4 of my Mustangs had paint issues. The first IDK because it was beat when I got it but it was my first car so it didn't matter. My hood has portions where in the Sun it's clearly teal and not a behavior of Blue Ember Metallic like the coating...
  5. Resale value is sad, anyone know why?

Buying literally anything other than a 1/100 (or fewer) limited production super car that you have to be invited to purchase by the manufacturer and not expecting to lose at least 50% of what you paid is one of the classic blunders.
  6. Paint bubble on trunk lid, Ford denying warranty claims. Do I have any options?

Tl;dr Ghosted by Ford twice for warranty repair. Is there anything I can do? It's on the outside near the lower corner. Noticed it shortly after buying last summer. I was able to make an indent with my thumb nail which disappeared the next day so that leads me to believe there's a void under...
  7. Auto Start/Stop killed by EPA rules deregulation

If EPA gave a shit maybe they should stop bullying us peasants and crack down on people like Bad Bunny who allegedly used his private jet to travel 15 miles from the Super Bowl.
  8. Automakers Are Selling Your Car’s Ever-Richer AI-Enhanced Data Stream

“What customers need is intelligence that understands where you are, what you’re doing, and what your vehicle is capable of, and then makes the next decision simpler,” What customers actually need is to be told No. No you may not have a driver's license. No you may not operate heavy machinery...
  9. What is latest update?

I'd really love for my instrument display to stop periodically flickering and all my settings randomly resetting. The settings defaulting isn't from updates resetting things and I don't care who disagrees since it still does it after disconnecting my telematics control module. Another fan...
  10. Update: 2026 Mustang GT350/TA Revealed [Shelby American teases new sports car TODAY at 1:45PM MT]

I imagine it's similar to how I felt when I saw the subwoofer and dash speaker when I popped their grills off my Body&Odor "Premium" sound system.
  11. OEM intake filters pre-oiled??

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be dry. I replaced mine with OEM a while ago and they didn't have any oil.
  12. PPF on matte surfaces.

I went with XPel and they covered my matte surfaces with the Stealth PPF, can't even tell it's there.
  13. Selling my 2025 DH and the market is in the tank

So glad I bought mine to keep until it becomes impossible to maintain. Best sounding V8 on the market imo, Tremec, every option down to the color I wanted, bought with single digit on the odometer so I know the full maintenance history. I'd rather buy a shitbox with zero trade-in as a second car...
  14. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

Love me clutch. Love me stick. Simple as.
  15. Headlight Condensation

S197 or 1967? I haven't heard of any car using glass headlights in the last 40 years. My 1999 had vents, I can't see why Ford would unvent the lights 5 years later then go back to vented 10 years after that.
  16. Watch how close FOB is to car...

I had to turn welcome lighting off because I'd regularly activate with my fob in my pocket in my house and the car sitting in the driveway. Makes getting a Faraday box to keep your keys almost necessary.
  17. Headlight Condensation

My old Mustangs never fogged even when the lights weren't in use, that's why I'm confused/frustrated.
  18. Well Water

I recently tried ONR after knowing about it for years and I'm pretty shocked at how good it is, no spots using it with my tap water. You can even buy a few gallons of distilled water for like $10 if your tap water is super bad and use that with it. Stuff works great on my computer monitors too...
  19. Headlight Condensation

Crazy how this never happened even down to -20F with windchill no matter the humidity to my 1999, 2004, and 2016 Mustang. They all had vented headlights, every car for as long as I can remember has had vented headlights. How else could they not break from trapped gasses at the various climates...
  20. Dark Horse – Rear Suspension Creak at Low Speeds

I just put grease everywhere those latches touch. No idea why it's a problem now when it wasn't with S550s.
