This weekend marks one full year with the Ghost. I felt like it was a good time to share my thoughts and mark the occasion.
This is my second Mustang but my first GT, and the first manual I've ever owned. After my last Mustang, an S197 that I bought brand new (essentially as a kid) and drove...
Normal with the Performance Package. Not sure why though other than it just being an extra perk that comes with the Dark Horse where both sides are open.
Other than the wheels and the stripes (and the painting I did to the mirrors and spoiler), it sounds like our cars are near-identical twins. Good choices!
Every time I see Vapor Blue in photos I feel like that's the color I should have gotten. But then when I see it in person I always feel better that I didn't.
Either way, if you really want it you should wait it out and find the car you want. I keep my cars a long time, so I'd want to make sure...
This has happened to me maybe twice since last October. Because it's fleeting and rare I haven't done anything about it. The computer in the car just seems to have weird things happen from time to time, like the collision warning coming on when there's not a car in front of you, or weird...
Is this only happening on automatics? My car isn't a Dark Horse but it's a manual, and every once in a while I feel like I hear something similar to this when I clutch in and break. But it's like a singular clunk and not very loud.
Is it gloss black like the cars with the Nite Pony Package? If so, the paint code is UAW. Not sure if it's different on the Dark Horse, but on Nite Pony Package and even the gloss black on the hood vent and front grille on the GT it's UAW.
I had my spoiler and mirror caps painted gloss black...
Hey all. I noticed last week that my clutch pedal is doing a bit of squeaking when engaged. It doesn't squeak until it's pressed in to about the halfway point, and it does not seem to affect the driving experience. It does this whether the car is on or off, so I feel like it's the pedal itself...
I still haven't seen a ton of these in SoCal. You'd think for sure you would in this area. But there just aren't too many of them cruising around, which I'm OK with. :sunglasses:
Yeah, expensive. If you're already spending $50K+ for a car, adding options you really want is necessary at that point or you're going to pay a lot more later. It's like that with any option, though. Not just Brembos. Hope you find a decent option! There are some good ones listed here.
If this were a standard color for 2024 MY I would have ordered one. But not as a 2025 anniversary package, and not with an automatic. I don’t like this new thing with Ford locking classic colors behind fancy dress-up packages.
