When you go to a concert, be it Rock, Pop, or classical, where does the sound mainly come from?
From the front. Rear is only acoustic reflexion, called "reverb".
In audiophile, especially car hifi audiophile world, what is tried to establish with priority #1 is therefore the so called "Front...
Rented one (was also a S550).
Low performance drivers we have too, unfortunately, so depending on where you drive, such high speeds are not very relaxing and you have to brake many times 😬
Go to a metal shop and have them make you such spacers from aluminum. It's in mm, so convert to inches):
Such 5 mm spacers will lift to around 12-15 mm I think, so the ratio is between 2.4 and 3.
They will come above the springs in the rear and are also sold by Steeda in case you can't find...
S550 Convertible for the last 6.5 years here, daily driver.
Top down from 50°F up to 100°F. Aerodynamics of the car are fantastic, A/C works even while driving fast, heating as well as cooling.
140 mph top down on the Autobahn no issue.
Wind noise top up at 155 mph no issue.
When parking in the...
That effect stays with most of the lowering springs too, unfortunately.
Steeda has spacers for the rear in different thicknesses to bring the rear up a bit.
Springs have to be removed for installation.
If you can push both buttons in one fluid move as they are next to another, then no big deal.
If you had to wait until the system booted up, bigger deal.
Add to that long press speed limiter to get rid of speed limit warning, then it starts feeling like the procedure of starting a midsized...
How fast after pushing the start button can you push the auto start/stop button to work?
Can you just hit them one after another and it will register the change even before the whole system and displays have booted up?
(per manual, if the button is lit it should mean it's turned off).
Man, I wrote about minute jobs BEFORE the customer picks up the car and potentially returns it later and by this making it a bigger job with appointment, scheduling, paper work etc.
It should be in dealers own interest to give away the car in a form that makes a return and complaint as unlikely...
As I wrote in the part you didn't quote: such realignments that take only a few minutes should be expected to be possible within the realm of financial and personnel resources even of the smallest dealership when they receive the cars and prepare it for the lot or the buyer, don't they?
And the...
Especially strange considering the fact that some major misalignments can be corrected in a couple of minutes, some even without any tools. Not to mention that you also don't even have to use any measurement device to spot these assembly faults.
Dealers should just fix it and send a complaint...
The Iconic Silver GT Convertible could have been it except that mine has a built date 03/07/2024 and should currently be on a ship as far as Ford chat told me.
Was hoping to already get an S650 as a rental back then but ended up with a 2022 Ecoboost.
A lot at the Flat Rock plant in when I drove down there when on a road trip in August 2023:
I guess (or hope) the satellite view in Google maps is a bit older:
You're my personal hero, don't know why nobody liked your post.
Will send the document to my dealer and bring with me when picking up the car :)
Uhm, you can think it has, but in reality, no, it doesn't.

In some areas in the US there are shops that sell tires separately, so that you do not have to buy a specific car...
I understood that the so-called "2024 Mustang" will be the last generation Mustang with V8, not last model year produced.
Like the 2015 Mustang was produced until 2023 (with a facelift from MY 2018).
So my guess would be a production run of maybe another 5-6 years, maybe ending 2030.
Seriously such a difference between the 2015 and 2024?
One of the most striking things to me is how fast I can drive with top down completely stress free and with even all windows down compared to all the Audi/BMW/Bentleys who all use ugly wind deflectors plus have windows up.
