Buying directly from Whipple also wouldn't be affected by the issue and is a few hundred cheaper than the Ford Performance version.

What's interesting about this is that the Whipple version is still able to be installed and tuned. I wonder what's different in the tuning process between the two?

It's very simple to install the adapter to prevent it from turning on. Took me 5 minutes. No more remembering to hit the button. Yeah, it's not a value for what it is, but totally worth if for me.

I'm not a fan at all and installed the harness from 4D Tech that allows it to remain off at each start unless the button is pressed in the dash.
