It was reported that there were suspension geometry changes from the S550 to the S650. I’ve been wondering when were might hear more detail about them.
This kit makes the S550 GT350 and GT500 front brake calipers easier to remove and negates the need to replace the the one time use caliper retaining bolts every time you want to change brake pads. From looking at all the of the DH and GT PP pics, I don’t think this caliper stud kit will be...
So it's fairly similar (if not the same) as servicing the brakes on a newer F150. There are probably plenty of "average Joes" taking care of the brakes on their own trucks. I do.
I think so. The wording in the order guide has different descriptions of the GT Premium HP and the Dark Horse front brakes, but all the car show pics of the red GT convertible with the HP show the same front brakes as the Dark Horse, of course with the exception of the color.
Two-piece rotors, not calipers.
Those two-piece rotors are the same design and construction as the GT350 and GT500. The six-piston front calipers are the same or similar design as the GTPP, Bullitt, and Mach 1 with regard to attachment points and caliper body stiffening/reinforcement bridge...
Nope, haven’t heard this either. Kind of hard to believe “The most track capable 5.0 Mustang ever,” won’t have the handling package available till next year.
I’m guessing something’s up with the dealership, not Ford.
